Gosh how is everyone feeling 24 hours out? I hitnk the bye was good because I didn't have to think about our final. But watching tonight it does make you feel excited about tomorrow night. I must admit I have a few fears running through my head. One is geelong get off to a good start and we are playing catch up all night, or we miss our first few shots at goals and that just builds pressure. I think this will be interesting. Id love to hear his side of the story on how his relationship was with some of the players. Look when he came to the club I thought great, he has been under mick, been part of a premiership team and had other credentials. I just think our list wasn't that great at the time and he was asking to much. I also think some of these players couldn't handle being yelled at or maybe didn't like what they were hearing. I to was at this game. Unfortunately we came up against a team that was booted out of the prelim the year before and wanted revenge. Lets face it this essendon team under achieved with this team they had. They should have at least won 2 flags. well viney for kent obviously and it depends on tyson, I reckon they will name him and give him until friday but it would good to get Hannan back. On another note the storm have been scheduled to play there qualifying final friday night at aami park at the same time. The area is going to be packed. We could have 90-100,000 people in the vicinity at the same time.

Seriously how enjoyable has the last 2 weeks been? Today that 3rd quarter was just perfect and so enjoyable. I sat there and pondered back to the awful days under bailey and neeld and thought how far we have come. I just loved everyone's game today and Max is just a legend. I did worry when he was chasing a giants player and was thinking do not ping a hammy. Im glad goody got him off at the end. I think the weeks rest will help him.

On the email from Jordy, Viney was on mmm today and just mentioned Lewis sent an email to the boys saying boys its time to get to work and you don't get satisfaction from making finals you get it from winning them so lets get to work. Was asked if there was some banter or jokes about it but Viney said it was serious and when Jordan get serious you don't joke with him. I guess that's why it helps having a 4 time premiership player in your team to feed off and get info off.

Look I still havent seen him produce a breakout game apart from queens birthday last year but his marking is great and today he was very good. Except when he stupidly chose to play on and had a shot for goal when he could have just gone back and had a set shot. However he could be an x factor these finals. I expect him do something special on the big stage.
