  1. I'm sure you could, you and wiseblood clearly don't have much else going on. 'penciling us in' after a NAB game is pretty embarassing, I was going to leave it, but i will now be taking leaf out of your book and reminding you of that at every opportunity, so you better not ever post anything about the side playing well given you wrote the whole club off in NAB round 2. Featherweight. hmm the troll game is fun. not.
  2. i thought we were talking about an interview
  3. how's your life going? Seems like it's primary focus is trolling people on a footy website which is both sad and funny. Mainly sad though. It's easy for you though, you never have the conviction to make a statement on the grounds that a troll like yourself might bring it up later. Gutless, carefully-worded, politican-like posts is all you are prepared to risk. A true lightweight. apologise for what? i will never support a blase attitude towards the opposition nor should you
  4. all depends on which side turns up.. yesterday's one or the one from last week, there's about a 12 goal difference
  5. "pencil us in for the bottom 3" - dazzledavey after our 2nd NAB game youre as lightweight as they come
  6. OMFG the odds have drifted out to $9.75 I seriously can't remember seeing us being that long Melbourne 1-9 pts = $21.00 The only way something amazing could happen is this: Humiliated, embarrassed and ashamed by last week's atrocity, the whole group has a fire in their belly, and a determination to prove to their coach, their fans and the rest of the comp that they are a real football club. Sadly, I don't think this group has the character to think like that, and Roos has not made much headway instilling it thus far in his tenure. We shall see.
  7. Nobody has had it worse then Watts.. you could be forgiven for thinking his first name is 'maligned' because every hack commentator and journo prefaces their comments about him with that word.. it still goes on now even though he is in his 7th season
  8. or a 'pick on the carp clubs' thing
  9. exhibit A: ONE dropped mark from Chris Dawes' entire Collingwood career /end thread
  10. Of course we have. This year. So far.
  11. I know Dawes is already taking a thrashing in this thread, but that's just plain mean
  12. Let me guess, we should have picked Wines?
  13. I see you've identified 3 bad players out of the last 300 or so that have won premierships
  14. Walker, Dangerfield, Betts.. I have a headache already
  15. I agree with on the condition that I can crack the absolute sads if/when Jones or Hogan ever get injured
  16. agreed, but like I said earlier, it seems like he is never, repeat never, served it on a platter.. it is always floated above him and he is getting close attention from at least one KPD. Why can't we try to use him in a traditional full-forward way, play him out of the goal square with instructions to charge on a lead at the ball carrier, have the midfielders looking for him and make sure that JKH/Gartlett/Kent is at his ankles 100% of the time to mop up the ones that don't work, anything but what seems to be the current strategy of having him be spoiled and fall to ground 70 metres from goal, it's just not working
  17. What mental demons? It isn't even the same group of guys that have been getting belted all these years
  18. EDIT: 'Incongruity' why do I have to be consistent? They came out and played a horrific game. Why would that not alter my outlook? I would be insane if it didn't We were 4 goals ahead at QT because we weren't playing anyone. After that it was the Mark Neeld show starring Chris Dawes and Colin Garland
  19. more importantly, GWS were horrific in the first half until they decided to turn up
  20. Why is it that we NEVER see Dawes, deep inside 50, charging at the ball-carrier, leading his opponent to be on the end of a chest mark as a result of a midfielder delivering inside 50 We always see him with often two opponents in a contested mark situation that is not to his advantage, where he has very little hope Is it a) The supply from our midfield generally sucks b) Dawes himself does not do a good enough job to be in the correct position and make a good lead c) The game plan is not even designed for this outcome If it is c) then you have to wonder how does Dawes actually fit in to our plan
