  1. I think we have 2 left on the list that need to go before the "clean out" is complete. Rightly or wrongly, I don't think Watts or Grimes will be offloaded this year.
  2. Why do we give Buckenara any air on this site? I'll never forget nor forgive what he did to us in 1987.
  3. Has a better relationship with Buckley than he does with Roos? Wow. Says more about the kind of guy Howe is. Bye bye bogan.
  4. I thought Mahoney was part of the f**king useless Football Department that just gave up 25 for Melksham?
  5. Welcome Jake - hope you're not allergic to leather... Edit - because he will be the new DL whipping boy. Nothing to do with touching the footy, or ideas BBO has for you...
  6. Oh, the irony.
  7. Thanks Azz. Not sure about anyone else, but it would give me great pleasure if we did what I suggested above. Although we do owe them a favour for giving Neeld a job...
  8. Can't be bothered going through the 57 pages (sorry), but is Melksham out of contract? If so, and Essendon what to be royal pricks about doing a trade (even if they aren't acting in such a manner), should we just totally shaft them and tell Jakey to go to the PSD? From memory he would nominate his asking price, so that would rule out any club before us, meaning we would get him for no cost other than his contract. And for the CAS/ASADA/WADA junkies out there, is the PSD held before or after the CAS hearing?
  9. * - officially
  10. * - You're ** - too
  11. To be fair on Olisik, KJ, his whole year revolves around this two weeks. It's a bit like Emma Quayle and draft time, difference is Emma has some clue. I have this image of Olisik being a mixture of (Good) Will Hunting and that kid off The Sixth Sense. He has this uncanny ability to work out the most difficult of mathematical equations, and can see things that most can't, including Roos and co.
  12. He was insipid in the GF. Failing at the big dance can fcuk the confidence of young blokes.
  13. Colin, just wondering if adding one more 28 plus year old is going to mean we have overcorrected, given we have lost two this year?
  14. Fixed...
  15. At the end of this season, I don't know one person that wasn't appreciative of the service that Cross provided since his arrival. I'd imagine a 3rd round pick may do the job.
  16. Because if one or some of those guys go down with injury, we are currently replacing them with the Matt Jones/Riley/McKenzie types, or the ones that still need developing (but we were "forced" to play them this year) like Stretch and ANB.
  17. Yep, like we did with Frost last year? Last minute trade, had to give up 23 as we didn't "collect" any other more "market value" picks for him. Sometimes you just have to pull the trigger. With Melksham, we will likely have the deal done tomorrow morning, meaning we can now focus on our next target. We're not flucking around anymore. We know what we want to do, and we go out and do it.
  18. Ah, so you want to get in to specifics about what steak knives are going to be added. FMD, thanks for wasting my time. Appropriate avatar.
  19. Yeah, but our 2nd rounder next year will be approx. Pick 36... And maybe the players we want to trade out are already linked to different clubs.
  20. If we wanted to do the trade now, we have either Pick 25 or 43 to offer. Essendon won't accept 43, so if we REALLY want him, we can only pay what we have in the bank, which is Pick 25. While it may be considered "overs", there's nothing we can do about it, unless we orchestrated a deal for us to get a late 2nd round pick from somewhere. It seriously isn't that hard to understand.
  21. Is it true that he gives his opposition the Jitters, Bugg? Wham!
  22. What, Pick 36? We'd be better off asking for their 2016 first round pick, which will highly likely be around the 16-18 range. That'd be fairer value.
  23. I just thank him for confirming I can read people's body language. I lost it the ability to when I was adamant all year that $cully would stay. I regained some of it back when I was adamant all year that Frawley was going to Hawthorn. I've been saying all year that I was adamant that Howe was gone, and it is fast looking I was right. He has the greatest trade value on our list when comparing to the onfield return. We just have/had to get a trade done this year to improve.
  24. I'd imagine that it would be as soon as Mahoney's signature goes on the trade papers.
  25. I think 'The Devil Inside' is Barrett. He'd be the only one that 'likes' everything that comes out his own mouth...
