  1. If they get a run on a kick a few goals in a row , we may need a B plan or spanner in the works to get things going our way. I would love to see Jackson played as a ruck rover to Max and take the ball high and then dish it off to Clarry or Trac, or pump it forward. Just something different to mix it up if we need to.

I gave my barcode away to a friend of a friend who lives in Perth and they asked if I wanted any money for it, and I just asked them to scream their lungs out in support of the boys, and that will make me feel like Iā€™m a part of it in some way.
  3. Dogs donā€™t really deploy a stopper or tagger in their line up do they?

Natalie Portman who was also in star wars attended training a few years back and is an honorary demon
  5. The beauty of viney is he can stop and be damaging the other way as well.
  6. Harmes on Libba again , to stop them dishing the ball out to McRae and Bont. We gave to guard the outside carefully as they get a lot of scores from Bont, Bailey Smith snd even Hannan running mid to half forward along the boundary. Rivers to play the game of his life on Bailey Smith and Sparrow to tackle and pressure Bont hard at every opportunity.
  7. Same as the Geelong game , we have to win the scores from clearances and at least break even on centre bounce clearances. The back line will do their job . The long arms and big frame of Benny Brown will be hard for the dogs to counter but Nibbler , Kozzie and Spargo have to put Dale and Daniel under heaps of pressure. Itll be a ballistic game
  8. Max is like a mythological figure, Zeus or Neptune, and last night was a godlike performance.

  13. What a magnificent team we have
  14. The next fifteen minutes will be crucial, we just have to keep scoring and keep up the pressure on Geelong. If we can keep or extend that 5 goal break, we should go on and win it.
  15. Viney finals specialist

If Jones is named sub and we win , then Iā€™d say bar injury there would be no change for the Grand Final, and the fairytale may yet come true for him.
  19. 1987 last game of the year against the dogs at the western oval was by far the best as it put us into the finals for the first time in 25 years and the excitement, and tears of joy when we found out we got in , waiting on other results which came through just before the final siren. It was very emotional times. Worst was the 87 Prelim when we lost to Hawthorn after Buckenaras after the siren kick was absolutely devastating. I got home and mum said ā€œ did you win?ā€, and I just burst into tears.

A giant picture of Shrek with horns and a demons jumper putting lord Farquaad to the sword, with Farquaads face looking eerily similar to Chris Scott. With the caption ā€Fairytales do come true!ā€

I think the only danger of us losing on Friday is Geelong winning the centre clearances by a lot and give their forwards quick looks. Looking forward to another mongrel animal game from Viney to prevent this from happening.
  23. I donā€™t think the umpires are biased or corrupt but I do think they are whistle happy and pay far too many tiggy touchwood free kicks instead of just paying the obvious ones. I reckon they do guess at times with out being 100% certain of what may have occurred and have way too much of an influence on games. Part of the problem is there is too much great area in the rules and itā€™s a very hard game to officiate
