Melbourne Fans Mindset
We were no good last year as well, and after an opportunity to bounce back hard after a disappointing performance against North we were pathetic again. I really hope we can improve but I see us flatlining at best, and a number of teams have now gone well past us as well.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Gold Coast
I agree Sparrow is a nothing footballer . Our only hope to to inject more pace with the likes of Kozzie, McVee, Windsor and Kolt, skilled players like Lindsay.

JVR and fritter have been gifted games for the past two seasons with the hope they will improve, one is clearly past it and other doesn’t look like he will make it. That’s our forward line in a nutshell

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Gold Coast
We are too slow around the ball , that seems the main problem to me. We have three bulls in there that can jump on the ball , but the problem is their opposing midfields are getting to it and moving it faster. We need Kozzie in there badly and I would even try Windsor in there. I would also play May at full forward for the rest of the year , TMac can hold down full back. Desperate time call for desperate measures. I’d rather see us try something different than watch us get belted every week.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Gold Coast
Totally bereft of confidence , fumbly and indecisive, no forward line and looking old and slow. Sad how the downward spiral can happen so quickly. If we finish near the bottom this year Goodwin is almost certainly gone , and there will be a few years of pain before we can hopefully get back up there again, led by the likes of Windsor, Langford, Lindsay , Mcvee. When you’ve gotta bring in guys from the VFL and blokes like Billing’s , you know the end is near.

Van Rooyen is a bust , I think I’d rather Turner at least he is a good mark.

Time to go Goody?
The fact the we can’t lower our eyes and hit a target inside 50 and continually bomb it in as if we have Tony Lockett and Wayne Carey down there is totally on the coach. Why is there never any movement in our forward line or players leading at the ball? Its been happening for far too long, and we have wasted the opportunity whilst in the premiership window with once in a lifetime players such as Gawn, Trac, Clarry , May etc..

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Watching his highlights before his 150th game made me realise how far he has fallen. He used to fly and take some brilliant marks , which I haven’t seen for a long while.

Remember we were also a chance for Houston before all that Carp went down.

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs North Melbourne
Very lack lustre , non spirited performance by the Dee’s, it was like Chandler and Clarry were the only ones out there. Not sure about Harry Sharp , hasn't impressed me at all. That second tier after , Clarry Viney and Trac , are just too inconsistent, guys like Sparrow and Rivers just aren’t standing up. We really miss Kozzie, May and Windsor as they give us a bit of spark. But to lose like that to North Melbourne is pathetic and very worrying.

How did Caleb Windsor not even get a nomination for Goal of the year this week, when upon viewing the 3 that did, the Dukes was best by a country mile?

Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
I think Jacko will only get better as he matures, but can we afford him? I can’t see a way we could fit the kind of coin he is on into our cap , unless it’s heavily future loaded for when guys like Max and May retire
