  1. Yep, you can forgive skill errors or execution but you cannot forgive effort. It was obvious within minutes we were not on. Players getting run down with no awareness of their opposition. Dinky little kicks going 15m up and 15m across. Handballs over the head to no-one. Targeting Aliir as if he were our key forward. Same old [censored] and all comes down to preparation, mindset and effort.
  2. What makes me most angry is even though I backed the Swans at $3.25 it was only a token $20 bet. I should've loaded up on them, this was so predictable every Melbourne supporter knew deep down it's exactly what would happen. Oh well, I can make up for it backing us against Freo and GWS and then loading up on the Bombers as we all know the season will come down to that game just like the Pies in 2017 and we will completely [censored] the bed again.
  3. 3 weeks? He's done [censored] all all season
  4. He outcoached Ratten last week. He got outcoached by Longmire this week. Those things are not mutually exclusive.
  5. I don't think you can blame this one on Weideman. Short of just running through someone Plugger on Caven style I don't how much he could impact the game considering the game plan and forward structure we had. Not to mention the Swans 3rd man up, flooding our forward line and Fritsch blocking him out of marking contests. Plenty of others to blame before having a crack at Weid who has done everything asked of him since returning this year.
  6. Lever had a great interview on the Dees Podcast this week. I'll have to go back and relisten but I'm certain he said he plays better without Omac in the team. His rationale was because it makes him (Lever) more accountable and he gets led to the ball more playing on a key forward who is targeted more often by the opposition mids but I thought it was an interesting comment nevertheless.
  7. Because Sydney just sat back in our forward 50, turned the game into a scrap and won it off a 4 or 5 goal burst. Same thing happens every time we play them, it's the easiest game in the fixture for Longmire.
  8. Hannan last week and Fritsch this week going up for marks and getting the way of Weideman and Gawn is another example of this. No strategic thinkers just too dumb to play team footy or just playing for themselves.
  9. He wasn't the problem but he is a problem. He wasn't the reason we lost, we can thank all our self-annointed superstars for that. May and maybe Langdon the only two who had a crack. The rest of them can get stuffed.
  10. And we just said "yeah no worries boss"
  11. Completely outcoached. Players with no hunger at all. Club can get stuffed. Pert and Bartlett will and should be ropeable, those kinds of performances cost the club big $$$
  12. At the moment I don't feel like I'll do that at all. Why bother? Let down after let down after let down.
  13. [censored] peahearts. They make me sick
  14. Our top 10 have been pathetic
  15. Lazy useless bunch of [censored] [censored]
  16. Jakovich!! I really miss these suburban grounds even if they were pigsty's. I was only a kid back then but it really did feel like entering enemy territory and gave some variety and a different experience week to week. MCG, Waverley, Windy Hill, Princes Park, Vic Park, Moorabbin, Western Oval. Great memories.
  17. Can't believe anyone on here talked him up. Yeah he has his "on" days but nights like tonight is the norm rather than the exception. Totally overrated because Essendon and because Daniher. If he was Joe Bloggs no-one would be much interested.
  18. It was going to be a stretch anyway with Cats and Port to play before us
  19. To be fair, he was playing under excruciating circumstances.
  20. The holiday will change to the Friday before the grand final whenever that will be
  21. Jeez that is so much like reading on here after a loss it is eerie. Glad it's them and not us though, schadenfreude at its finest.
  22. Makes it even sweeter that they think that. Let them sook.
