If only we could play ourselves, we certainly have been known to roll over. Other teams don’t seem to do it as easy as we have done in the past!

Doesn’t sound good with hogan seemingly tweaking his groin in the last quarter. He didn’t sound too confident with it.

He should but Nicnat is back and the way they talk about him after one game is unbelievable, I think he has already been given the AA spot, Max is playing for the bench already!

With our track record, that is a surer bet than us beating them both!

Petracca - looks to continue to improve - he could be anything Hannan - he did nothing for roughly the first 3 quarters but he seemed to keep running and tried to will himself into it in the last and actually did some nice things - is what you want, we've had too many who would just accept it as not their day. Fritsch - has great attack at the ball, if he can fill out some and get more endurance will be a great pick up.

They don’t fall asleep in a game for as long as we do nor do they take teams easy as we will. It’s not a danger game for us, we need to play out of our skins to get close to them

I'm told that the players believe that our game plan is too taxing on them. This I believe is the reason why we haven't gone on with a game this year. It may also explain why we seemed to hit the wall a few weeks ago. They get ahead and then try to save energy. Going into what they perceive will be an easier game they think they can take the shortcuts and get it done. Obviously this doesn't work. I'd say that the players need to get fitter or get players that will give it everything but it doesn't seem to matter who comes in. The place just drags them down.

Don't know if he will come to us but I've heard him talk a few times and he specifically mentions that all the individual success means nothing if you don't win a flag and that is the ultimate to him. If he doesn't think he can win a flag at freo I reckon he will go. That being said, he will probably go to either Hawthorn or Geelong...
