early contact against Lever. is that a new rule?
-
is it just me, or do a lot of games this year look like our finals games
-
the system works, its almost the only thing keeping us in it. The team seems unbalanced with so many outs we are not playing our best footy, obviously, but I reckon it was going to take a month to get fitness back after a short pre season
-
I would like for us to do to them, what they did to us in round 3 in 2013 ( I think it was 2013)
-
Hunt's disposal has not improved Bowey playing Salem's role tonight forward line seemed congested backline a little shaky, tho still conceded the average 60 odd put the Q in the rack at 3Q time, did what we had to do lets smash the bombers next week
-
that last qt was very melbourne
-
massive deflection

A couple of things I'd like to see on Wednesday A banner in the cheers squad that says " bang, bang, bang, bang!" Another that says, "surely not another one" And for Dees to enter the field to Freed from desire, with us fans doing a great rendition from the stands

the only part of the fixture I am disappointed with is that Collingwood and Hawthorn dont play in Geelong. other than that, 80K round 1? 80K round 3?

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
cookieboc replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
didn't know where to put this, I think I heard on the radio that the boxing day test will be capped at 75K. If the club wants to do anything before Xmas with the fans at the G, I presume it will be capped at 75K, which will probably mean it will be ticketed, and then sell out in a heartbeat Cant wait to take the pilgramage to the G to see the boys do a lap of honour, I think that's when it will finally sink in for me!! -
so the club has guaranteed we don't travel round 1 play a team with similar preparation as us to start the season a packed MCG to unfurl the flag, possibly 90K+ and they get the $$$ in early just in case covid rears its ugly head again later in the season
-
I prefer we play an interstate team in round 1, that way we get a bumper crowd for the unfurling of the flag against a team we traditionally don't have big crowds against.

that third quarter, I just can't get enough. 3 goals inside a minute, not once but twice. holy [censored], put the game away. I love the look on the dogs players after Oliver kicks his goal, they are totally gobsmacked -

there was one on the weekend with, I think Steven Stretch and Buckenara talking about the 87 prelim. it was interesting, though didn't catch all of it. could be worth a listen. -
Apologies to Sean Wight, my daughter wrote it before I got the chance to spell it for her. Located in Geelong
