What's this BS? Have you forgotten that we were the highest scoring team in 2018? Over 150 points more than the minor premiers and over 200 points more than the next highest club. It's just patronising and disrespectful.

Again, social media/comms will have a big part to play in this resurrection if that's the way it goes. They need to bloody get it right.

IMO, comms should go through the club as a matter of professionalism and standard process. I'm a film producer and I'm constantly checking in with my crew, making sure they're all feeling fine with everything. It's process and good communication, the latter this situation is apparently greatly lacking. As a matter of good communication, the FD should have made it clear that Trac would be going on extended leave, and he had the blessing of the club after a real life and death ordeal. But on the other hand, it's ridiculous to think that Trac wouldn't reach out to the players and say something.

If it is indeed a big part of the frustration puzzle for Trac, Pert's cutting of the social media budget (that many of us have complained about for a while now) could have been the simplest thing to get right. That's not on the FD. So if it's not Pert, who is going to take responsibility?

Completely agree. I have Pert and Richo in the gun for all of this. Both likely need to fall on their swords. One probably will, the other will likely be carrying out the review and protected...

If players were angry at the Noosa trip and later calmed once explained the situation, it's negligence on Richo's part IMV.

If Jeff played in 2024, he'd be a perfect second ruck / key forward IMO. He was always a beautiful kick.

I hope we get Todd to succeed Richo as head of footy. Knows how to say it how it is, and holds people to account. Todd and Max Viney more likely back in the Melbourne men's program than Jack being in North colours.
