  1. Yep, jumped off the Browny bandwagon. What a [censored]. What's your club doing? Dopey bogan.
  2. Yep. And have you looked at those three teams across the final rounds?
  3. If St Kilda lose to Sydney, Hawthorn beat North and we beat Port, yes. But we're playing the youngest side in the comp. Momentum or no momentum. This isn't the 1980's. It's a completely different kettle of fish. I didn't think they would, but unfortunately, due to St Kilda's win today, they're going to finish ahead of us. They also have Richmond and Brisbane to come.
  4. People need to have a little common sense here. We were always going to win a game or two that we didn't expect (ie. Hawthorn) and lose a game or two that we didn't expect (ie. Essendon and St Kilda x2). I've long thought we'll get 10-12 wins this year. At this stage, it looks like it'll be 10-11. I think we're more likely to lose narrowly to Port, lose to Carlton and beat Geelong in Geelong. There's no way we'll play finals though.
  5. Further, we all know how depleted Essendon are, but it'll be interesting to see if Worsfold still has it next year.
  6. Why aren't the Drug Cheats playing down at Geelong? This should be their 186, instead they're playing in Melbourne.
  7. My most hated supporters and have been for many years. In other news, approaching the tenth year with my Hawthorn-supporting fiancée, and I finally get that first win since we've been together. Now we just have to beat them in a Grand Final in order to get her to switch sides. Not sure her mob will have a chance over the next 3-4 years to play in too many of those. That cliff is coming up quickly.
  8. How was that passage of play after our last goal, where I reckon Oliver laid 3 tackles in 5 seconds in our forwardline. I reckon Nathan Jones did. That must feel good. Staying loyal. They'll need more than Tom Mitchell. Brad Crouch as well would help though. Not sure they'll get both/either though. I thought we'd win too. Have also said since last year that we'd win 10-12 games. We should get 10 now. It shouldn't have taken that long, but today's game should be the final nail in the coffin of that one. Rance got two weeks. What will Mitchell get?
  9. I haven't felt as chuffed since witnessing the Geelong win last year, but today's result takes the cake. What a win! Interesting given where you live, Mister Nash. Roos said in his press conference during the week that they'd managed Oliver really well. That's pretty clear to see. I love that he earned his way back with a 39 touch game. He was brilliant. Already one of my absolute favourites. The match was Game of the Round tonight on FOX and Jono Brown said something along the lines of 'Melbourne are building a premiership midfield'. It was even more emphatic than that, but he as glowing in his praise of our midfield and rightfully so. I'll say it again: in 2-3 years time we will have the second best midfield behind GWS. If we can keep this group together, we're a real chance at having the best midfield in the league.
  10. Biggest troll on 3AW anyway. Clearly not a Melbourne supporter, but claimed to be. The commentators sounded suspicious, which is why they questioned him.
  11. I reckon we've managed Oliver superbly. This midfield. Seriously. So exciting.
  12. My film was playing at MIFF today, so I arrived halfway through the 3rd. I lost my voice. That was [censored] brilliant.
  13. So Clarkson just used inexperience as an excuse for their loss today. The little person scrambling for excuses.
  14. The coach lives and dies by the recruiting and list building of his team. But I agree to an extent. Buckley should go first. He's rubbish. But Hardwick should have gone two years ago.
  15. That was a joke of a decision. The mormon is a brilliant player and should have got the free there, instead they get an incredibly soft one that turns into a goal.
  16. Gotta say, still can't see Richmond winning this. Aren't Collingwood pathetic though? They're a season and a bit ahead of us experience wise and look very ordinary when the big American doesn't get near it.
