I think they're also using the forward half to rest/take Trac out of the bang and crash of midfield for a few weeks, and I'd expect him to play heavy midfield minutes in finals.

I'd rather Goody have played a straight bat, because it potentially brings external focus onto Clarry now. If Goody straight bats it, they have nothing to run with. It's done now though.

Andy, I just heard you say that we haven't put four quarters together in 2023, where in 2021 we did. I'd love to know which game we played four quarters in. We didn't even manage 3 great quarters in the GF. Maybe the prelim against Geelong and the Brisbane QF. Prior to finals though, I don't recall us putting together 4 quarters.
