There is definitely a breeze. Melbourne's kicks all hang in the air then fall dead, Bulldogs kicks just go and go and go.

Kicking against a strong breeze at a ground with no cover to block the wind and in 30 degree heat. We've controlled general play but kicks inside 50 have been held up in the wind and end up dead balls. This quarter will be a better gauge.

Something like that generally happens to Melbourne. That was the most un-Melbourne quarter I've seen in a while. First to the ball. Getting free kicks from lazy opposition that is behind. Generally it's the other way around.

When was the last time we dominated quality opposition like this? Should have been an 8-10 goal quarter.

Our primary area of concern is transition: defending the transition, and going coast to coast out of defense. We simply can't do either.
