Fantastic news. I hope all are well.

A number of players pulled up sore after the slog in wet weather on the weekend... so wiser heads prevail like this. Ease them into the week, when tissues are over taut. All going right, it should pan out to being a loong season for us D's. We need to be prepared right, so we are still reasonably fresh in Legs come September. September more important than March. The players should be fairly fit and tuned by now,, as per a loong season. Backing them off should be fine, to see the season through. Particularly the oldies, like that Jones boy. If we were easy beats still, we should then be looking for a fitness jump over the competition in early season. This is what we do not want for our situation... as legs will be tiring come September, right when we need to be at our best.

Most of our missed shots at goal is about composure. That will get better along with our rise in collective confidence. The leftover miss's will negligible.

The exposure to the girls game will help it grow, at grass roots levels. The kids/girls, will be the future of their game... and of the main game as well. It will all prosper with exposure.

If this club wants to be a strong powerful club, then it needs to do things that make us all happy with it... then it will grow. Creativity happens through expression and caring of interested people.

Actually there are a lot here trying to contribute... even at the expence of disagreeing with some of the club's decisions.

And sometimes, some are far too 'precious', for our own good.

We have the makings of a better midfield. On paper that 97 team list, overall, was much better than we had in 2018... on paper. This current team is better, on culture, etc, and levelheadedness. No Hollywood about this current setup. ... and back in those days we were infatuated with having best forwards. Not so midfielders. This IMV cost us dearly and was a sign we wanted to bathe in the glory of goals kicked... instead of bloody hard work in the engine room. Our penchant for looking classy, has hurt us in the pursuit of Premierships. class instead of hard work will never win the race. Hard work is the foundation of success. see Jetta, Harmes, Hibbo, Jones, TMc, Viney, Oli, Gawn (his class didn't do it, but his change of attitude and work ethic did),,, a few classy types have left the building recently... and a lot Pre Roosy. .

sorry MD. My issue was I didn't know what 'inchape' was. I hadn't heard the news. I would like to see Australia buy 'Holden' back, from GM. And kickstart our manufacturing again... even if only at developmental and design stages, at this point. If 'Holden' is home here... than we can restart, and also expand laterally into other areas, like farm machinery, aeronautics, etc.
