Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
jnrmac replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
The Jackson has had bad advice. You are allowed to write to anyone by post. And if you have an email address because they have been a previous client/customer or had some relationship with your organisation then you can write to them by email. You can't write via email to a list that you don't have a direct connection to. You must have an unsubscribe and those people you cannot email. -

Its more like Craig Thompson. Deny deny deny. 'I've been set up' etc When it goes to court, he doesn't challenge the credit card charges but rather whether he was authorised or not to use the credit card. They are boned. Yee ha. -
He was running already this week. The call is bulltish. he said himself its not an injury that they can say definitively its 2 weeks. he's taken a knock to the lower back and the bruising and soreness takes a while to work its way out. They are just being cautious.

This gets weirder. So I thought ASADAs investigations were finished? Isn't that what they said recently? How is it the investigation is finished and now ASADA calls Dank in? Maybe they investigated everyone else, now they have their evidence they call Dank in and he (as the architect of the program) gets grilled. Any charges will be against him and players will get infraction notices..... Who knows.. -

Ok so Lance Armstring blames his doctor. The Chinese swimmers blame their doctor. 'my coach gave me a pill - not my fault' Doesn't work. -
Who cares? We got Jim. He plays for us. He's a young player just strarting out his career. Its ridiculous to compare him to someone else based on 12 months. Let's try somethimng new fo D Land - support him

How come Doc Reid didn't get the stuff checked out? How come Doc Reid did not demand to be informed of everything to do with the whole prgram? Oh thats right, Its Hird again. The messiah. Reid should have gone and the ONLY reason he didn't go is that he was prepared to go to trial and Demetriou would have been sunk.... -
Have had a bit to do wih Ticketmaster. The website for all afl club memberships stink. Ring up its much easier, The staff are quite nice.

Practice Match - Melbourne v Hawthorn @ Casey Fields

Why would you think we had any say in who we played? Aside from the interstate sides who are given some preference for minimising travel I would guess its pretty random.. -

You never have a perfect team. Its all about players that can play roles. In a perfect team Spencil probably wouldn't get in. But my view is that he is a reasonable big man (yes with a few flaws). Other areas would need fixing before Spence. So your post is not really practical in the way the modern draft works. -
Does Ollie WInes play for us?

Agree. And I think Spencer while not the most accomplished ruckman going around gives great commitment and contests really well. -

you'd be kidding wouldn't you? Melbourne players are fair game as punching bags in the pre-season.... -
Plenty of Hanrahans here too.....

Of course they do. They wanting a cutting edge program. I don't think anyone suggests they deliberately sought to go over the line (wherever that line is) but make no mistake they were pushing hard to ensure they had an edge on the competition. Sometimes when you walk on a line you cross over it. They clearly did. The 'oops we didn't mean to go over it' doesn't wash. Even Ziggy (their guy) said it was an 'experiment'. They set out to push the boundary and failed... Throw the book at them.... -
And we know how well that turned out....
-
You forgot to mention brain..... Just sayin....
-
What planet are you on? They are injured. And you are questioning their work ethic? Their work eithic is impeccable. In fact prior to Cross arriving it was the best alongside NJones. I'd be questioning your ability to distinguish between the two concepts of injury and work ethic.

That is a great article. I am going to write to my State member and lodge a formal complaint. Oh and the guy that wrote was legal counsel for Workcover - he should know...
