  1. Judd will look after number 1. JUDD
  2. There is always a loophole that can be used. Plus draft selections can be considered subjective in that every clubs opinouns and needs differ. Even though Judd is widely considered the best player in the comp if the Tigers sign a document that states they believe Chris Judd is not a good fit for their club at this time and ensure they will draft someone else how could that be considered draft tampering. Thats their opinoun and they have a right to express it regardless of how wrong or unlikely it is. If Tigers and Blues collaborate appropirately they can stick it to the Eagles big time and personally I think its great.
  3. One would assume they would need to sign some sort of legally binding document in advance of the PSD to ensure that doesn't happen. Plus, thats how wars start.
  4. I like it. If you think the Eagles wouldn't do the same if roles were reversed you are kidding yourself. They are as ruthless as anyone else. Carlton have put forward a trade they believe is fair and reasonable and they have said all along no.1 is not on the table. It doesn't appear they have closed the door on further negotiations with the Eagles just where it involves the first pick. If WCE are smart and picks 3, 20 and kennedy is not enough for Judd they should play it smart and start making alternative suggestions like obtaining another second round pick or similar or another player/s.
  5. OK, well now on to non-self gratifying matters
  6. 1. J Brown 1. J Brown 1. J Brown 1. J Brown 1. J Brown 1. J Brown 1. J Brown 1. J Brown 1. J Brown 1. J Brown
  7. We should really stop posting solely about Yze_magic. His hard on would be severely depriving his brain from blood as a result.
  8. What else is he gonna say he's a piece of crap if you want him you can have him?
  9. Correct. If he has breached the contract in some way he could be de-listed I would assume the Eagles would look to offload him in a trade next week but assuming they fail in that endeavour its not improbable that he could be de-listed. It was stated this week that Chris Mainwaring and the Eagles had a major falling out at some stage this year and not doubt Ben Cousins would have been invlved in that is some way considering their friendship. They could end up with 3 top 20 picks in this years draft and might be looking to start fresh while their 4 main KPPs are still quite young (Glass, Cox, Hunter, Hansen) in an attempt to have a crack at a flag in 2-4 years. On top of that Ben has been one headache after another for the last 24 months. One would think the saints may look to land him to re-create the old Gardiner-Cousins show. What a ticking time bomb that could be
  10. I think Stynes has said in the past he was pretty much forced to retire despite him thinking he had more in the tank, and when big Jim tells you he has more in the tank I think you have to believe him. He did play 6000 games in a row
  11. Easy bender, out of all that only Simmonds was a real blunder, and he was sent to the Dockers not the Tigers Jolly was desperate to leave and really isn't all that good anyway, Jason Ball made that duo at Sydney look good in 05. Stynes might have been pushed aside 1 year to early but would it really have made any difference to our perfomance in '99? He would have been rooted by 2000 and even if he was still serviceable would it have changed the GF result? A 10 goal loss to the best team possibly of all time. On top of that Matt Rosa looks a bit soft to me, not conviced about him as a player yet.
  12. Well I hear Collingwood were prepared to offer the Eagles a carton of Winnie Blues and a slab of Melbourne Bitter for Judd. So we should be able to get at least a 6 pack for Jamar and a couple of half smoked cigerette butts and a set of used denches for Miller
  13. Unfortunately I was thinking the same. And if Sheedy was still at the helm I wouldn't have ruled it out of the realm of possibility.
  14. I heard from someone yesterday the Crows are very keen on obtaining Alan Didak and would consider trading the likes of Ben Rutten Would you entertain a 3 way deal that would send Didak to the Crows and Rutten to Melourne with pick 4 going to the Pies?
  15. Alwyn has been identified as a key component of rebuilding Essendons midfield. I can't see why he would walk away from that kind of guaranteed oppurtunity. If he moves to another club he would have to start all over again to prove his worth. If true however sign him up!
  16. Great work Diablo. I don't agree with everything you wrote but I do share your frustration. Excellent post.
  17. Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't the Judd trade reported on channel 7 like this: Johnstone & another yet to be named Melbourne player to Sydney Jolly and pick 11 to Melbourne Picks 4, 11 & 21 to WCE for Judd Gain: Judd & Jolly Lose: Johnstone, pick 4 & Pick 21 and another player Now put like this it appears a massive win but the ??? is who is the second demon. In reality I think Johnstone for pick 11 is a massive win for us, Johnstone would be worth about pick 17-21 in my estimation which would mean we are being compensated to accept Jolly. That is obviously highly unlikely which makes me think the second Demon would have to be some one of quality and not a Brad Miller or Mark Jamar. Also thinking that Sydney might be eying one more crack at a premiership with an aging list the probable targets for mine would be: Green Davey Bruce White or similar...
  18. How big would that finger be, I have a feeling that would make a difference. Also I much prefer to hang on to Aaron Davey for those that have been suggesting him as trade bait. He causes oppossition coaches match up problems and you want that to remain the case.
  19. Who was it that spilt his pants the other day? I think I know what he was talking about now.
  20. You didnt miss much. The players revue was good, the shielas in it were crackin' and Kelly Clarkson has porked up a bit. There was some funny bits like when the big bald bloke that won the car for almost footbal legends planted an unwelcome kiss on the blonde from Chrysler. Not much else.
  21. grasping at straws I know but does anyone think they failed to mention Judds destination on the footy show because it looks likely he will be at Melbourne and not Collingwood. If it looked certain to be Collingwood the cynical side of me suggests it would have been drummed up big time last night.
  22. Sphincter itching is becoming unbearable. Surely it couldn't be taken away from us now. It would be torture.
  23. Correct, but can our sanity last that long. I get the feeling the dam is about to burst and a very serious leak will come out soon, i.e. tomorrow. How often can you remember hearing something for the first time at the official announcement in recent years.
  24. Thats was the 1 thing i was confident about. It was highly unlikely Judd would choose a coachless club that plays a majority of games at the Telstra dome on the advice of an intellectual giant like Matthew Lloyd
