Of the likes of Frawley, Watts, Gawn and Sylvia being talked on this site as possibly wanting to leave, I'd prefer the MFC concentrate on securing Frawley and Gawn before worrying about Watts and Sylvia. Watts has done next to nothing in his career to date, lacks heart and avoids contact/physicality like the plague. Sylvia on the other hand, well he's a FA so the ball is out of our court there, plus the rate we're going, he'd be long retired before we even look like a premiership fancy (come to think of it, Frawley would probably be getting long in the tooth by then as well, but he is a must keep. Decent KPD don't grow on trees, and he is the only one we have on our list that comes close to being one).

would rather get Kennedy at pick 13 (if he's still there) than give it up for Caddy. Kennedy has just as big a kick, is a hell of a lot quicker, has much greater goal nous and can find the ball a lot easier than Caddy. The only area Caddy is supreme is in the guts, but given his current form, i'm starting to doubt that too. Kennedy all the way

Have no idea when contracts expire with off-field staff, but don't player's contracts expire at the end of October? If that's the case with staff, that would be pretty convenient coming into the draft.

We got pretty close to it last year, with our lot running around in netball skirts.

The only way that Steven May would be able to go to another club other than GC17 (if he's any good) is to wait until the 2011 draft when he's 19, as GC would pick him up as a 17yo next year/take him pick 1 in '10 draft. Even then West Sydney would probably get drafting concessions. looks like we'll have to go Watts this year, butcher and Scully next year. I hope these concessions don't override f/s selections, coz Jack Viney is meant to be a very decent footballer.

I've met Jeff White a few times. The first was a few years back at the airport when he was going to get his shinguard fitted/measured. He was checking in and running a bit late for his plane, but was more than happy to talk to me for around 5 minutes. Top bloke!!!
