  1. I remember at the time of Goodwin signing on as coach, the radio stations were at the MFC press conference. All except SEN, they were unable to do the live feed because Ralph was on swearing black and blue that he was off to coach the Crows. Goes to show the quality journalist that he is. Until others start reporting Dogga’s move, I’d take John Ralph’s ‘info’ as a grain of salt. He figures if he’s wrong big deal, if he’s right then he was the one who broke the story. AFL AFL journalism and accountability don’t exactly go hand in hand these days.
  2. And if they won’t, Caro surely will 😂
  3. Jamie Cripps has to be up there as the biggest downhill skier in the league. As for the Weagles and their ‘tanking’ approach, Dogga aint going to go anywhere near this cesspool of a club. They can wallow in their own ineptitude for a good 5-6 years.
  4. We currently hold the McClelland Trophy 🏆
  5. Oh it’s still a symbol…………………..of my life’s pursuit. I feel for those whose dream it was to live to see a Melbourne premiership, yet were unable to. I am sooooo fortunate and grateful that I got to, and so I celebrate it for them as well.
  6. One need only look to the 2008 Cats and 2018 Tigers to see that great teams don’t win premierships for just turning up.
  7. I dare say it will take longer than 12 weeks to really establish, given we’re on the cusp of winter. I would’ve thought the surface would be cherry ripe for practice at the beginning of the 2023 pre-season
  8. Might need to borrow those UV heat lights they use at Marvel and the G to keep the turf growing during winter
  9. Tigers, Cats, Crows, Us, Saints, Blues, Filth, Dogs, Lions
  10. Hard to tell which one Clarrie resembles more
  11. Yes yes new season and all, but whenever I see the cup, I am just so damn proud of this club. The pride is off the scale (and will forever remain so) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ #stillindreamland
  12. Spargo out would hurt, as he provides a great link to the forward line.
  13. Oh good, just 3 of the 5 senses wiped out. Any impact on ball handling skills 🤪
  14. Well then so much for several players getting a nice rest.
  15. Good luck to any KPF out there on a day like has been forecast for Saturday. At least our midfield looks strong (please don’t jinx it). As again, this is where it will be won and lost.
  16. I guess he’s not part of the starting 22?
  17. For those that have had Covid, did it make you feel lethargic?
  18. That’s all well and good, but when teams begin to cotton on how to beat us, we’ll employ strategy #2 - May kicks out to the right side of the ground. That will keep teams guessing for another 2 seasons at least, as they recover from trying to figure out what the funk happened (as will all MFC supporters 😱)
  19. Where all kids should be going. The disconnect from the grass roots level and the AFL is wider than ever, and this could also very well be the infamous neglectful legacy of the Gil McLachlan era. His entire time as CEO has virtually been a big 🖕to local footy through the entire country.
  20. At the onset of winter dormancy………….I think not. Ask me again during September 😜
  21. The MCG and Docklands use eclipse stabilised turf, so wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what we’re going for. Which means we could be training back at Gosch’s very soon. The ultimate benefit of the system is its ability to perform to international sports standards immediately after installation https://www.hgturfgroup.com.au/projects/melbourne-cricket-ground
