  1. I normally delete posts like this, but I'd like this one to stay as an example. Not picking on you particularly PG - this has been a gripe of mine for some time. This is a part of the code of conduct applicable to Demonland, but also applicable in general life: people do not want to know about the state of your erection. Ever. It honestly surprises me that people think this is an okay thing to say on a public forum, to strangers. I must have different social standards to others. By the way, if I ever have that Randy Marsh pic appear on my screen at work again, the poster responsible will receive a life ban, no ifs or buts. Sorry to be a grinch in an otherwise great thread. Cheers
  2. While I agree with the "move on" sentiment graz, I've never been a big fan of "I've seen worse" being used as a reason for mitigation.
  3. It was pretty forceful and in the back of the head. Not enough to knock you out, but definitely enough to give you a headache.
  4. Another Harmesnoramus. The only thing more certain than Harmes not being dropped, in my opinion, is Harmes not being dropped for ANB. I could stomach it for a top 10 player, but not for another foot soldier.
  5. First on our tackles ladder though.
  6. Heh, you always know Dean Ku..err Kent won't be far away when there's a blue on either.
  7. Funny how in a matter of seconds the whole world can unravel isn't it? I had admired him up until that point, now this incident will replay in my head whenever I hear his name.
  8. Harmes is currently equal 3rd on our ladder of tackles (with Jetta, behind Bugg and the manic Viney). The club would be well aware of this and understand the value of it - it disappoints me when supporters don't. He can also mark better than most of his size, and can kick a goal. His mistakes come from trying to operate at maximum intensity, not through slow or dumb footy. I reckon the coaches would love him. I thought he was on the peripheral after round 1 but he has dug in since then. Won't be part of the "who do we leave out?" discussion this week.
  9. I think it was RGRS that pointed out that the other two Richmond players (Grigg and C.Ellis?) didn't want a bar of it either. Their body language was more "yeah, we saw it, please don't kill him".
  10. Can't see them dropping Harmes. Frost first out for Petracca. Brayshaw second out for Oliver. Would be happy for neither, one or both to occur.
  11. To be fair to Bugg, he's probably not used to playing in front of an actual crowd.
  12. I'm pretty sure what sparked it was Tommy Bugg. The lad's gob was open all night.
  13. Anyone watching the Roos press conference? LOL. That's what I was like after the North game.
  14. User Actions Follow Andrew WuVerified account‏@wutube Alex Rance just did what every Melbourne supporter has wanted to do to Jack Watts #AFLDeesTigers
  15. How good is this AFL game? I wish I'd started watching it before this year.
  16. I nearly threw up when I heard that. Wasn't quite sure who punched who in the head while they were lying on the ground for a second there.
  17. Rance punches Watts in the head after giving away a free, as Watts lies on the ground. Pig.
  18. Like the Tyson of old, he's strong and he's- Sorry.
  19. I can see myself with a headache in half an hour's time, regardless of the outcome. How stressed?
  20. Anything you've seen that you have enjoyed tonight Clint?
  21. I reckon Hardwick was just desperate. I can't see anything to be gained by tricking the MFC, and I doubt anyone would fall for it in any case.
  22. A few finals wouldn't hurt his tally either.
  23. I doubt they were trying to trick us, just giving their best player the absolute maximum amount of time to get up for the game.
  24. They would have exactly the same number, you'd think, since their AFL lists are the same size as ours and their VFL team has to also field the same number as our VFL team. Obviously Casey fields a dev league team too, but I doubt Petracca and co spend much time with those fellas.
  25. I just don't think he can possibly be that "slow" if he got on the end of it 30 times (more than any other Casey player) and kicked 2. I reckon speed is hard to judge and people get it wrong all the time - I remember thinking how horribly slow Hawthorn looked when they were getting towelled by Adelaide early in the game last night. Suddenly they started winning contests and getting some outside spread and the same mob of people didn't look slow at all. Obviously Trenners isn't slow relative to the VFL players or he'd not have had the touches he did, yet others thought he looked it. I think the only way to find out if his touch translates in the seniors is to put him in there, though as I alluded to in my previous post, there's no glaring hurry or need to at this stage.
