Yeah I have him as top 3. And yeah, I reckon if you're gonna make a big move like that to fill out your team with talent, it's at the START of a big 5 year coaching stint. For all of the discomfort this decision has caused, oppo fans aren't all that down on it. I feel like it can work either way. And yeah, Raiders can certainly compete for playoffs.... but maybe they're just a touch thin overall. Carr's a good player, but is he MVP? Cooper's had a bad year. You gotta ask yourself do they have all the pieces in place, and if not, you go out and get them. I feel like the NFC is looming large. You look at some of the stacked rosters... Rodgers, Brees, Eagles, Vikings... And then you look at AFC on their side and I reckon your own list looks like it sits somewhere in the 10-16 spot, at best, in the power rankings. With that in mind, this sort of feels like a good move.

Sure is. 6 years for Mack. Gee that's a big, big trade. Makes me a little nervous that Big Cox will have to go one day from the Eagles. These big-time D lineman (along with big time OL units) define success across the league. Look at the Eagles. Not much in receiver. Not great corners. Just have all the good stuff in the trenches making mediocre backup QBs Superbowl MVPs.

All of which he's done all year, with the exception of only a couple of games. Like I say, you read the game how you want. Frost has been pleasing since he came into the side, but I don't have him anywhere near OMac in the role OMac has to fill in the side. He's also only been back in the side for 8 games and was overlooked for a rookie before that. OMac was starting 22 even before he got good. The Committee had him in pen on the team sheet even when he was playing badly, which he isn't anymore. Frost is well behind OMac. I'm absolutely certain. But like I say, people can read it however they want. I'm pleased for the kid and always had a soft spot for him. But with a fully fit list he's on the bubble, OMac is not.

I disagree. To each their own. I need my KP defenders in before rebounding defenders. Like I said, happy to put him straight in there as amongst my first 3 picked. And no, he's nowhere near losing his job even with your suggested setup.

And play where. lol There's only so much room for humans that size on one side of the field.

I'm not as across the Pack as I am NFC East teams, but that was my guess too. The two first rounders are there for a trade too.

He was in the team when we were healthy. Not to take the [censored]... Your post was well considered (whether or not I agree)... Outside of Lever and Nev, he's first picked in our backline. If I'm having a rough day... I look at our under 25s.... And everything's ok again.

I was a little critical when he came to the club. Loved him as a player at Crows, but didn't think he would be there when we play finals. Very shortsighted on my part, as he's been one of the big difference makers. Him, Lewis, Cross and other mature agers have had a huge impact on what we all see as a great list build. Well done Bernie, enjoy a well-earned rest, and well done MFC for a great recruitment.

I've been trying to fly this flag on SEN since Robbo claimed Gunston should be in the starting 22. TMac's kicked the same amount of goals with 5 less games.

It still blows me away that this is going on on any level. Obviously when Kingy says it it has to be looked at, followers will be followers. But why have we considered trading this guy ahead of anyone else on the list? Oliver? Viney? Tracca? TMac? Gawn? If Hogan's tradeble then they are all tradeable... I have a sneaking suspicion that for many who want to look at trading him, they're only proposing it because they fear the next ten years of trade rumours that will follow him as he racks up 300 games in the red and blue. It's almost like they think they're "onto something" by getting in early? It's absurd to the point of stupidity. Get used to it folks. It's only JUST starting. For years we've had kids with potential getting poached who hadn't won anything... I had Cowboys down as a serious scary team this year. I'm not really interested in pre-season, but looking at their list, they're gonna need to find a few guys to do damage this year. Defence might get a bit better with Lee, Taco and Gregory coming in... But offence, gee whiz. Frederick looks like missing most of the season, their WRs aren't big names at all... if Dak or Zeke were to miss time, they'd be in trouble.
