Casboult is far from a perfect ideal...but a distinct trade up as 'foil' as compared Dawes. We may not get to wherever in one fell() swoop but its a bit of progress i would have thought. Be interesting to see how the FD pushes in this sort of direction. What we have currently isnt quite there

Sleepy. ..Petracca is 186...just a bit short for a KPF. He may have played the half forward role in juniors but they seldom man up the same there as they do at senior level. CP will start of yhe half forward line as a flanker most likely. As he builds his tank hell do time in the middle. Hell be groomed as a mid. He was drafted to eventually play a more midfield role.

Why does anyone really think/expe t a club, its fd manager to come with whats really going on. This is footy-poker. Sure you see the river cards but the rest is kept close to your chest.

Sometime, someone will change it again. I've always been of the mibd you set up your attack to suit you, to play as you want to and it's up to the defence to negate you. So often i see sides setting up their offence ( fwd stricture ) as to defend against the opposition's defenders. All arze about for mine.

i agree. A Poor mans KPf ..and agree a much better kick that credited as. Im not fussed or otherwise inclined but hes not as hamstrung in play as Dawes. Dawes IS probably better at using body and those unseen things...just fails to finish off much.

where do ppl get this idea hes a crap kick ? He's ok. Probably not a long kick..and on the run disposal only average but as set shot inside 50...better than average.

im no dyed in the wool fan. Rather ambivalent about Levi. But 'can't kick' simply isn't correct . Hes an average to slightly better kicker of the ball. He's a halfway decent mark who's hands make Dawes' look like iron mitts. A criticism of Levi is a bif of a reminiscence of some of our own bygone Demons in so much as can be which Casboult turns up to play. He can vague in and out of games. He seems to have made some ammends to this but im not an avid watcher.He can present and knows the locale of the 2 big ones. Hes a poor mans KPF. That might be sufficient as a foil for Jesse. If they looked at Levi the future of Dawes and Pedo is determined.

all things considered thats a good start. We've a bloke who can't Would be surprised if Blues shopped him. Am bemused by the love for him. There was a similarly sounding bloke who was bagged on these boards not that long ago....must have been a rello !! Casboult is OK without being anything special. Has some ability and can mark. That might be enough but how's that much different from Pedo ?
