Id go one further They only expert at providing stats in line with their metrics. Some are absolutes. Marks kicks handballs. Frees Many are subjective. Tackles, kicking efficiency and the like. They provide numbers. Not overly interested in numbers.

I agree. Despite my frustrations Omac may well morph into a handy regular defender. I think hes better off developing as opposed struggling. A Mackenzie type would provide a fillip but i still see what he would bring and what Omac might provide as different roles. If we are indeed (as a club) seeing the FB role being an inhouse development ( whoever it may be ) then a fillip is ideal. If our strategy requires a FB player outright then Id definitely look a Lever. Taylor and Co seem good at finding players. Will be interesting to see where we go on this .

Our dilemma reminds me of a person on a treadmill.. Its moving at X and person atop is running at X... result...standing still ( effectively ).. Person gets better and starts upping to Y....only to have the treadmill similarly increase demands to Y...net result.... no change Which metric do we go by to describe our situation ? we are better...yet no further advanced !!

The jurisdiction on all major airports is Federal. They would have been in control ( or not as may be ) The Vicpol unit will have been requested ( eventually) if no other resource available in time. Areas of concern. How did AFP take so long to get act together ? Why were Vicpol only informed AFTER plane landed. Wtf were the Feds doing in meantime. From all accounts the relevant info was there for the asking. Why did it take so long for a tactical response unit...to actually respond in a meaningful way. Please dont kid me they had trouble finding gear ffs. ( and if they did....oi vey !! ) Would have been piece of pizz for authorities to have eyes and ears from inside craft. This still has ballz up all over it for mine. What we're hearing is spin...not substance.
