Some observations.: Skills that weve completely got down pat and make for a wonderful foundation. An unerring ability for the many to stand around watching everyone else . Bravo bravo When going forward its very important to kick to a dead pocket where theres at least a two on one ( their favour) contest. Very important to WAIT until oppostion has got the ball before tackling( maybe) or better yet running off them and providing their passage Have shown immense skill at teh 'hero' kick up forward whereby you just blast aimlessly forward hoping to get near goals instead of setting anyone up. Nearing our forte !! Falling over.. ..we're tops at that. Truists of the game will rejoice that the hospital pass is alive and well... Go Dees How in the world are we in front !!!

He obviously played on him at VFL level. Hes well suited, ( if not too good) there. At AFL level you need to be fleet of foot , very quick to dispose and dispose effectively. You need all of this to the power 2 when playing the midfield as the acceleration through teh midfield is what breaks lines. Bate simply doesnt have this.. hed get dacked. He gets far to oeasily coralled as it is let alone when theres kaotic traffic..
