Kind of what i thought. Interesting manner of approach. The old bumbling buffoonery of a club ( This is my take on how many might have seen the club in not so olden times , espc the AFL ) might have made a mess of all of this but there seems to be much wiser and more capable thinkers at the club presently. The AFL might have instigated the 'fight' but they might well have misconstrued their opponents. The Club seems intent on doing things on 'their ' terms and not the template others would prefer. This is interesting, pleasing as well.

The word is 'too" btw Apologise for nothing. What they did was deemed as not punishable by the club ? so be it. Was it stupid..you bet Now cut out the sanctimonious and pious bullsh!t we're all tired of it...really

you may well be right. His report card reads as so-so. He seemed like a bull at a gate but seemed to stall on the line. Injuries are cruel no doubt. Good point I thought Chunk was limited and happy to have that blow up in my face Jonesy always had determination and hindsight suggests footy nouse and the ability (rare) to self critique and apply himself. Tippy seems one of a handful who've been round a few seasons now and still leave us in the dark

Whilst I dont consider Vlad a fool I also dont particularly consider him Einsteinian. For was he to be such he wouldnt have pizzed off o/s on his littel junket. He might have sensed the main-chancer in AA and put a lid on all this. As others ( WYL ..and some other staunch advocates ) suggest could not this have still been diluted if not shunted sideways by some judicious overseeing even after AA let the horse bolt ? But it wasnt. So has this occurred though a lapse in intuition ? Did Vlad espy a possible easy target and think he can get a soft win and appease the trolls ? If this is the case he's made a grave error. Timing couldnt be worse for anyone to attack the MFC. We are finding our feet and with that our voice. We've galvanised in adversity and dared to regain our previous right in this competition. Does Demetriou seriously think we're about to roll over NOW ?? Im still ( for the moment) going to continue believing hes not so foolish , that he will theatrically take this to its brink and then with a view to Detente broker a win/win outcome with no foul or sanctions. Does he risk losing control of the farce to the courts ? Does he risk his own tenure should he bog the league in a tar pit of litigation ? Is there anything really to gain by penalising us ? or can he prove sage and fashion a path to a position where the whole issue of tanking can be put to rest , now and forever. This might be about Tanking but make no mistake the AFL is standing in the middle of a Mine-field and they made it !!

Not knowing what Demonology is like, nor worry to. This is still Demonland. ..its always had its yips !! Argy-bargy is fine, strong and considered debate is encouraged. It just gets a little deerailed from time to time. Such is life. We're big boys ( and some gals )

Still, in many respects the club has played this game well and part of such has been to not be predictable. This too would be in that mould.. I suppose currently we're at a point where we (club) have an idea of where the League is placed and its intents. They can't be so sure of us. They consider they have their finger on the trigger, but we have the detonator in ours. They might go bang but we can go BOOM !! They might expect X , we do Y. That's how it all seems. The scriptwriters are certainly kept busy.
