  1. This was reported as an option around the time Toorak Park was The latter one never going to be feasible but Caulfield Racecourse may be
  2. to be honest, i will be very curious to see what happens this season and his role at the end of the year choc is a brilliant football brain but has, at other places, worn out his welcome he seems like a markedly different person these days; he's matured like a fine wine
  3. wouldn't that disclose it?
  4. very good player on field and an absolute superstar off it very interested to see what his post-playing career is
  5. telstra pay about $270m to be the afl digital rights partner
  6. Do port’s flags in the sanfl count? What about south Freo in the wafl? both part of their history but contextually irrelevant to modern afl
  7. gil's update: there'll be an update...some time...in the future...i might be delivering it...i might not...
  8. out one side of his mouth - freo believe henry will be at a vic club in 2024; to the dees to be kozzy's forward line buddy out the other side of his mouth - pickett back to freo to play alongside henry...who is apparently going to be at a vic club in 2024.. classique ralphy
  9. the age says we're giving him time, and that he is very happy at the dees herald-sun says he's very happy at the dees and we're targeting liam henry to be his forward line buddy, and if he was going to leave it's more like to be wa than sa (as others on here have all said)
  10. top 4 at the end of the home & away season
  11. love that the afl are at pains to label first game as 'unofficial' or 'match simulation' or some other malarkey so fox don't have to telecast it
  12. he'd waltz into half a dozen teams and be amongst their best inside mids he's very serviceable depth
  13. lever is a clear on-field leader and is brilliant in the media too has 'next captain' written all over him
  14. good to see geelong continuing their 'let's get what the demons have' approach egan, byrnes, pearce, corrigan
  15. that he's still displaying concussion symptoms some five months on is...not good
  16. fascinating i've been trying to get ai platform execution happening for the last seven years in my various roles and it's FINALLY happening in 2023
  17. going old school with how i used to do it back in my school notebooks... B: Bowey (17) - May (1) - Lever (8) HB: Brayshaw (10) - Petty (35) - Salem (3) C: Hunter (12) - Petracca (5) - Langdon (15) HF: Neal-Bullen (30) - McDonald (25) - Chandler (37) F: Fritsch (31) - Gawn (11) - Pickett (36) Foll: Grundy (6) - Oliver (13) - Viney (7) I/c: van Rooyen (2) - Harmes (4) - Spargo (9) - Sparrow (32) Sub: Jordon (23) Emerg: Melksham (18) - Rivers (24) - Brown (50) i am presuming that hibberd will not be 'ready to go' for season start, as seems to be tradition
  18. only players i'd accept in an exchange for kozi from the pear would be butters or rozzee
  19. cox used to cop it too; like gawn he just ignored it and got on with the game think yr underrating big sandy - he was a colossus and when he was 'on' he was unstoppable and lastly i'd rate gawn's leadership alongside voss, selwood, and maxwell
  20. interesting, but i have heard it reported that the majority of his family is actually based in sa rather than country wa, which was the opposite of what i thought his dad is actually in sydney? which is it? 40+ goals per year small forwards who apply incredible defensive pressure are rare commodities and i'm hopeful he's going nowhere - hard to see how crom or the power could 'afford' to bring him in without giving up something significant the other way, particularly given that they've just brought rankine and francis in respectively this off-season i'm hopeful, rather than expectant, that he'll be a long-term demon
  21. good was shocking scenes
  22. sam walsh missing for at least the first month of 2023 after having to undergo back surgery can't see bluebaggers getting top 2
