Thanks for the effort and passion you gave the club. Like a Godfrey you bled for the club and did everything you could, but your time was up, you were honest with yourself as you have been your whole career and stepped down with aplomb. Good luck with your future (and if thats coaching that doesn't extend to when you coach against us )

Its amazing what you can make up to get yourself excited for a game of football, when your team is second bottom and not a massive chance at winning many more games

On SEN today they said the rumor is Voss to Carlton, with Britain and Mcrae as his assistants. As we have given ND the review paper I'd also slip one to Voss on the sly. Voss is the one guy who i actually want, some i don't and others i wouldn't mind.

The Geelong cae is different, they had 1 bad year, we have a track record of massive slumps mid season, a bad year every second year etc etc. Jaded voss actually said a big factor was the club moving in the right direction. We are doing that, and he would benefit the year after with brand new facilities. Lyon said " not wanting to use MFC as club, lets say greensbrough came into the league" voss then said all that which i wrote above, i believe he has Lyons backing and both Hutchy and Wilson's think he could step to the plate and duck who was against it said straight after the interviw that he was swayed a lot. I think Voss would happily coach the MFC if we offer him the job in the next few weeks, but we have to do it before seasons end.

Pressure of your first AFL game is high anyway, what we are doing is nothing. Besides its a fun way to help the club out finacially and be funny if the club find out they could get $1k for playing the kid and their reaction. Hell i sponsor a girl in Haiti, why a MFC player for a game. Should we rename him the revenue maker?

Actually I think someone who you watched bust his gut and do all the great team things he did week in week out, you would have a massive amount of respect. I think respect is one thing Voss would not need, he already demands it.

Voss already has a back room staff already in his mind so if he was offered a job that he would have a lot already researched. I must admit im really warming to him.
