Exactly we don't clash with sydney, only our socks did. An away strip of mostly red will not clash with the bullies or essendon either. I like the designs here, the reverse is noce, the red with MFC logo is nice and the one just above with the small blue V and hte stripe with MFC is excellent I think. I'd buy one of those jumpers. I think we should in a few weeks time run a poll with all the desings we come up with and see which is the most liked jumper and let the club know.

Yeah but i think the blue and red were the opther way around, I know it's not the greatest it's still better than the silver crap and at least resembles our jumper slightly

I tried finding the pic of the dandenong jumper they wore for 2 years which is a white jumper with a reb and blue yoke, can't quite remember if it looked good, but I think it would still be better than that crappy thing we wore.

I agree what your saying, paying some of our existing players more than what they are worth to get to the 92.5% is a silly option, trying to get a big name by the lure of money is a better option, but I do not think we will be that far under, there must be quite a few ready to come out of contract who will need a little more than the last contract and the other thing is I'd rather see us pay 94% than 99% and pay duds more than they are worth.

Our culture is mediocrity, simple, we have been happy enough with results of making the top 5, 6, 8 for way toooooooooo long and we make finals achieve nothing and pat ourselves on the back and seem a content lot then fall by the way side, pop up for a good year then pat ourselves on the back and away we fall again.

In light of the fact that we have to wear a away jumper for 2 years you would think that it would be in the clubs interest to come up with a few design and maybe place them on a site that we can go to and comment on which we like best etc, surely they want a jumper that A. looks good and is a jumper that does not clash with the other darker coloured jumpers B. The fans would be willing to purchase, if you have an away jumper and it looks good then people will be willing to buy them and that would generate more money for the club, times like this the club needs to listen and consult with its members and supporters not some stiff twats who come up with these hideous designs, seriously who ever designed this would not be a Melbourne supporter.

Actually G.Lyon gave it a spray on footy classified last night, the worse thing is it's around for next year too.

Jones is struggling due to two reasons, only he or McLean get the ball around the packs consistently and the opposition knows it, the amount of times that the commentators said that we were watching the saints players at the stoppages instead of trying to win the ball was laughable, thats exactly what we were doing and the saints like other teams target Jones and McLean and leave the rest of their team to play offensively knowing that the rest of our team is crap in that area. (and most others)
