Would love to see him this week, but realistically it looks like it will be Round 4 against the Scum, bring it on. It will be a debut to end all debuts. Collingwood are on the ropes, time to land the knock out punch with Petracca. Can you imagine Petracca BOG in his debut and having a win against Collingwood. Bang!!!

I watched training yesterday and Pettacca in particular do some pretty freakish things. He took a couple of really great contested marks against Garland. He just totally out-bodied him. I saw Jonesy's reaction. He was standing on the boundary and grabbed the teammate next to him and pointed with excitement at what he just witnessed. I seriously can't wait. Excitement is growing!!! Gary Ablett Snr? ?

Went to training today and Brayshaw was the standout in terms of physical development in the off season so far. He has shreaded some of his puppy fat and added a couple of kgs in addition. He was looking seriously good. Very very excited.

Pleeeeeeeeease get Francis with pick 3. He is a Fyfe clone. No more stringy outside mids. We need big tough mids. Francis' kicking is elite, can take a great grab and has X factor. Weiderman at 7.

I have it on good authority that the MFC are shopping Jack Watts around, with Adelaide and Gold Coast the leading contenders. I cannot believe we are seriously considering trading Jack. If the MFC could properly develop Jack he will be an out and out A Grader. Jack needs to be locked inside a gym for the whole of pre-season and force feed to build his frame. The only thing Jack needs to be a gun is muscle and strength. He has elite skills and elite vision. He needs to be up around the 98 kg mark and he will dominate games as a key mobile forward. I also have it on good authority that he doesn't want to be traded and that he wants to stay a Demon, unlike others. As such we need to keep players that actually want to stay at the club, as this may prove difficult moving forward. I will be furious if we trade Jack against his will when it's been our fault that we haven't been able to properly develop him to his optimum.

We need to prioritise getting the following into our club: Mature bodied inside mid Mature pacey outside mid Tall Key Back (i.e. Frost) Medium Running Defender (i.e. Lumumba) Small Crumbing Forward We need the following big pre-seasons from these players: Hogan - Solid Pre-Season Watts - Increase Muscle & Strength Gawn - Increase Muscle & Strength Howe - Increase Muscle & Strength Jay K - Increase Muscle and Endurance Salem - Increase Muscle & Endurance M Jones - Increase Muscle & Endurance Pederson - Increase Muscle & Endurance Trengove - Increase Pace & Endurance Toumpas - Increase Pace, Muscle & Endurance Jetta - Increase Endurance Kent - Increase Endurance Priority for me is Watts, Gawn and Howe putting on muscle. These three with extra size and strength will dramatically improve their games. Also Trengove and Toumpas getting faster and fitter will dramatically improve our midfield. Kent, Jetta, Jay K and Salem should take their games up a level also after another solid pre-season. And Hogan just has to get through a pre-season. Fingers crossed on all of the above.

I've heard from a source within the club that Dave Misson put Mitch on a training program for the last 4 months with the intention to get Mitch back and healthy for a return to the Demons and that Dave Misson has been training him personally off-site. Mitch did intend and want to come back to the Demons. Demons said they would pay him X. Mitch got greedy and said he wanted much more than X and said he would go talk to other clubs, which he is doing. From my understanding MFC have assessed his likelihood of a successful return given his foot, soft tissue and mental issues and are holding strong on their offer. My take is that I think Mitch owes us enormously and he should take whatever we offer him given what he has repaid us over the last 3 years, 15 games for $2million plus. He owes us ... end of story.

He was a mad Melbourne supporter and his family are still all mad Melbourne supporters, including cousins, as well as a lot of his school friends. We should be having a serious crack at getting him back to where he belongs, as a little birdie says he is keen to come home.

PATRICK DANGERFIELD. We must go hard after him.

Correct 1, 2 and 3.

My mail is that Todd Viney was pushing very hard to recruit Wines and that Neeld overruled him with the Toumpas pick and that they had a fallout over it early 2013. Don't blame Todd by any stretch. It was that [censored] Neeld.

Can't believe no one has mentioned Jeremy Howe at training today in the sprints at the end of training. Looked to be 200m sprints. He was by far and away the fastest. He was in the first (fastest) group of him Cross and Grimes and consistently won by a healthy margin. The other surprise packet in the 2nd fastest group for me was Toumpas who was touching up Nathan Jones. Very happy with that.

[censored] sack this moron now. I am so [censored] over it. We are in jeopardy of a player walkout at seasons end unless we get a big name coach to offer some optimism. I personally know of one big name player with bags packed if Neeld is at the Demons next year.

I'd prefer Grant Thomas than the current imbecile in charge.

Herald Sun reports Gysberts to be shown the door...Neeld has gone mad!!!

Bump. Like I said. Neeld needed to be sacked last year. He's a complete spud. Wake up people!!! Zero game plan. Petterd is killing it at Richmond, Rivers is killing it at Geelong and Moloney is killing it at Brisbane. Go Demons. #listentotex
