Low Attendance
The beauty of AFL footy was that the game alone was the entertainment. It was always the other sports in the world like NRL and basketball that needed that stuff and even music in-game to keep people engaged. I filled out the MFC member game days experience survey and at the end I just wrote that while I don't mind MFC's gameday experience compared to other clubs, I'd honestly still be coming if there was no entertainment and I had to BYO snacks.

What They Are Saying at Springfield
Yeah almost impossible not to like Brisbane. My great uncle was a Roy boy, no qualms with them winning it if we don't

Farewell Luke Jackson
Pretty much exactly the way I think about it, in business terms. I never buy into sound bites of players loving the club or how Gus sounds so happy on the podcast, I buy into signatures on dotted lines and even these days that's proving to be no guarantee of keeping someone long term. The list is all I care about. Yes I'd have some love for him after what he did for us but no-one is bigger than the club.

Low Attendance
No venue has any idea about this stuff at the moment. So many places I've been lately blast the audio so loud you can't hear yourself think let alone have a conversation with the person next to you. I'm not a 19 y.o at a nightclub anymore turn it down a notch!

Bailey Smith is the New Story
Can't help but think Bailey Smith is NOT the new story. it's been 10 straight days of MFC plastering in the media..

What They Are Saying at Springfield
- NON-MFC: Round 14, 2022
Agree, the greater good is more important than grudges right now.- What They Are Saying at Springfield
It's a hell of a town!- Low Attendance
Not a fan of Thurs nights either, the only people I find who like Thurs footy are either people who like staying home with Kayo or neutral fans or both. Rarely is it people who regularly attend games and definitely more the fan who likes a game of footy they can watch in the background and go to bed before the end so they can be fresh as a daisy for work, not how I watch football. If I'm watching I'm either going or if interstate watching the whole game on TV and watching post match material or having a debrief with the fine people of Demonland. Watching a game and then immediately going to bed at the final siren is stupid to me but it's a first world problem. I will also have a major issue getting down to Geelong that night, as a matter of fact I think it's just going to be a bit too tough as I'll likely have a very early Fri morning start. If they want to raise the agenda of low Thurs night crowds then have at it, we'll how far they get.- Low Attendance
It certainly does, and then the smartphone brands keep bringing out devices with bigger screens making them more battery hungry. Carrying around a big phone and a powerbank aint fun.- NON-MFC: Round 14, 2022
Winners at last please tell me you thought Crisp's handball to Cox for his goal on Monday was a throw. I just want to find one person that agrees with me on this 😝- NON-MFC: Round 14, 2022
Happens all the time for some reason.- Caro Apologise to Dees Fans
Exactly, unless it's a balls up of a free kick it's just a waste of energy and silly. Two things I can't stand: That and loudly cheering an opposition miss, unless it was from a terrible free kick and therefore a 'justice' moment.- 2022 Injury List
I don't get this either, something isn't right.- NON-MFC: Round 14, 2022
Yes we are only 2 games ahead of teams like Richmond and Collingwood. This is what happens when you lose 3 on the bounce, very much not ideal no matter what the excuse.- POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Neither, if I bet on Melb games now it's just a same game multi with no head to head leg 😀- NON-MFC: Round 14, 2022
Excellent, good job Tiges!- Caro Apologise to Dees Fans
Did Caro apologise? No football media for me this week, still too upset so missed FC.- 2022 Injury List
I hope this is one of those moments where the media 'gave away the secrets' and the team in question responds haha.- Farewell Luke Jackson
Exactly, I would think a deal gets done if he decides to go. Very rarely happens these days it was much more of a thing before FA when it was the only way other than trade period for players to switch teams. You could maybe say with the threat of PSD it may give WC a tiny bit of bargaining power than if he were contracted next year for instance but then again we could always deal with another club that gives us a better offer, or he could change his mind and stay. So I'm not too worried about adequate compensation if he goes. We just may not be able to demand the world for him.- Farewell Luke Jackson
I think because he's not a free agent we either do a deal or he slides through to the Pre Season Draft where they could take him free. Hopefully someone can explain it better but it could be a case of taking what we can get if he decides to go.- Tasmanian AFL Team
I really struggle to see this. Makes sense in theory but it seems a bridge too far. The Green Bay Packers concept of being a small but football mad area is great but they neglect to mention that GB were a cornerstone team in the National Football League and played a massive part in its formation over 100 years. The whole thing reportedly banking on getting a massive stadium with a roof seems far fetched. For the AFL to put up 750 mil or whatever it is all seems very pipe dreamy especially when they are propping up another club up north. I fail to see the return on investment. A relocation is the only way I see it happening personally and it sounds like they've ruled that out so really I don't see it happening.- CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
Of course and I agree but at some point in the season he could still have value I reckon TU. He should definitely be dropped this week but some people were calling an end to his career. I just don't think we have the luxury to slice away potential options up front right now considering the injuries and Majak being reportedly poles apart from where he needs to be to make an impact at top level. We wouldn't want to have to use this option but it would nice to think he could offer something once we've fixed our forward 50 entry stuff.- NON-MFC: Round 14, 2022
Yep, go Tiges. Put a halt on this blue madness. - NON-MFC: Round 14, 2022
