Yeah I see your point, Witts might be more the the more traditional body on body 'win the hitout' guy.
Darcy very stiff, I would have thought Tim English would have made the squad as well.
I'd be hoping he takes a look at Essendon and realises it's a tire fire off field and that there's likely going to be better opportunities in store for him with friendlier boards next time round.
On the flip side I hope this knocks off the first 2 or 3 candidates and they end up with someone who never thought they were going to get a shot at senior coaching.
Wow! I know Yze was stiff to miss out but Adam Kinglsey has been waiting his chance too so could to see him get a gig.
Ooze to the Bummers isn't cool. Just get Hirdy back
Questions:
- Is it dangerous to be jumping the gun on how we potentially fit T-mac back into this team?
- The Swans are an outstanding running side and they will likely run at our defenders and not hoof it into the 50. What are the main things we need to be aware of when defending in transition against the Swans on the open spaces of the G? Will it mainly be about the pressure we bring or are there some other things worth noting?
I know a lot of the Collingwood wins have been 'heroic' but not so impressive with a % of 104.
The Geelong fixture is criminal. 2 x North games and 2 x West Coast games should get someone fired.
This is why I wasn't having any of the 'we badly miss Burgo' stuff. Sure, he was a loss no doubt about that but Selwyn would have been trained very well and privy to a lot of the processes. Burgo may be that extra 10-15% but the list is largely the same and the structures would have been put in place.
