  1. I felt they would on this one. It's not right
  2. Yeah little surprised with the Hunter bashing at the moment.
  3. I'm confident we'll do the right thing. I'm starting to get pretty irritated by the discipline being handed out to players doing the right thing and playing the game in a spirit that we love. The Chandler incident against West Coast last year was a real shame and was unfair to make an example out of him in that moment. It's a hard game to play as it is, let's not keep throwing brain candy at these guys.
  4. I thought it did too and it was his forearm or bicep that collected Ballard's head as secondary contact. Defenders would be rubbed out every week if this was a crime.
  5. The JVR incident is actually the perfect example of why he's there. It's otherwise a routine defensive mark for the opposition and here comes the kid out of no-where making something happen out of nothing. It's been so good to have.
  6. Taken from @WheeloRatings site Centre bounce attendance: Oliver 86% Viney 71% Petracca 54% Grundy 50% Gawn 50% Sparrow 43% Jordon 25% Harmes 11% Pickett 11%
  7. I mean, it's a pretty impressive stat. But then again my 'infatuation' with Collingwood apparently needs serious medical attention..
  8. That's right, do what we have to do to qualify for the tournament then bring your best. Pretty happy to fly under the radar right now collecting wins.
  9. I'm still shocked that the incident was replayed as much as it was and then to hear it was going to the MRO was shocking. It was a bad accident, players get hurt.
  10. We saw what happened with Kozzie in Rd 1 and when he seemed to get caught in two minds when bumping after that. Decisions like this are going to turn an amazing young prospect in JVR with great endeavour into someone who will second guess that contest next time. It's rubbish
  11. This is an absolute disgrace. We are now punishing this great young man's physical ability and playing for the ball. Please MFC do not let this slide, they cannot keep getting away with this tripe.
  12. Well said, they are human and are beatable. It's taken a while to break it down but eventually someone will figure it out. It would be kind of nice though if I could pay a compliment to another team in this thread without being insulted by a low range poster who hasn't contributed anything of substance here yet.
  13. Job done again by the Pies, I know the thought police don't want to hear it but they are in this position for a reason.
  14. FIVE REVIEWS
  15. Probably because he kicked a goal against them once.
  16. When does the red line go through Sydney's season? Maybe not yet
  17. It is kind of funny hearing the love in the media for the way Freo played last night like it was a big achievement. Anyone can drive a car safely for 5 minutes, let's see them in a Grand Prix under actual pressure.
  18. Oleg Markov has to be one of the better names going around.
  19. They're a good side the Pies
  20. Turn and face
  21. Is this a poor performance for Melbourne or did we simply run into a good team that put it all together and possibly even outplayed us on the night? I thought the Suns did a lot of things right, they have a lot of skill through the middle and when they had possession it was not easy to get it off them, this was the best game I've seen Noah Anderson play. We weren't at our blistering best for 4 quarters and there were some below par performances but I still see this as a good win early in the season away from home I hope I'm not alone here.
  22. I just think the most dangerous thing to do following this sport is go into a game expecting to win with a minimum margin in mind. I never do it, it will just sets up the hard fall of disappointment and the competition is just too level to say that a team on their day can't bring a performance like the Sun did last night. Bank the early wins, I want us playing our best in August/September.
  23. Why be a goal umpire if you need to go to the review 4 times?
  24. Not looking too bad!
  25. I thought the idea of football was to kick through the big sticks? Not the small or nothing sticks
