2023 Injury List
Sorry Picket I bumbled this up, was meant to quote Skuit's post regarding the winds! Glad I did though because that is very cool, what a robust boot La Plata was!

Farewell Mitch Hannan
Wanted to bring this up in the Petty injury thread as an aside but wasn't relevant at the time. Horrible luck, it's a long road back from an Achilles injury like this and could really affect long term running ability. I'm not someone who looks out for our ex players every week to see how they're doing but this one does sadden me a bit. I do hope this isn't the last we've seen of him but if it is he's set himself up well for a career outside footy and wish him the best.

It was really a miracle that the wind was calm. Some of those replays they showed with Boomer Harvey's extreme left compensation brought back some bad memories!

Definitely not aimed at you Gonzo. We were all a bit frustrated with that kick I think yesterday even me. Some of the talk today though almost suggesting he should feel guilty? Give us a breather.- PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Carlton

The vitriol being aimed at Sparrow is completely uncalled for.- Have we officially found our full forward?
Definitely. I see a T-mac 2018 season from him if he's down there full time.- PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Carlton

Appreciate your view and absolutely agree but if it wasn't an underrated aspect then you wouldn't see the likes of Schache, Weideman and Watts taken so high in drafts. This in built nature to know exactly how you position yourself as a forward is definitely what I look for as well and then using your movement to best advantage, the push and pull is a great way to put it. You don't have to be a G-train or Travis Cloke but you have to be able to hold ground. The guys who don't have it look like they are running around in circles.
