  1. At least we still have you @Dannyz 😁

Just regular chromecast plugged into a non smart TV. Casting straight from Kayo.

Enjoyable year 2018. Hell of a pre season, seeing Fritta and Petty arriving at the club was exciting too.

At least we don't have to worry about much this year in terms of securing futures.

I too would like to see green, it is lacking in the AFL jumper landscape/. I do think there needs to be a mix of nostalgia that people can relate to but also a new and original identity. For this reason I'd probably keep the old 'map' jumper associated with state of origin and create a similar jumper with a slight point of difference. Would actually love to be a fly on the wall in these creative team meetings, I'm sure they can do a better job than GC.
  7. That's right and structures that have been practiced and practiced in the leadup can fall to bits if tampered with too much. Are there timer when I wish Goodwin was a bit more of a matchday guru swinging magnets? Yes. However I'd sum up his matchday coaching by saying it's because he's more a system based coach than a poor gameday coach.

Pay decent money for a guy who obviously wants to be no.1 ruck? What could possibly go wrong! Real talk though he'd be a worthy successor, hard to know when that will be though.

Do you chromecast to your tv or just use the Smart TV Kayo? I was chromecasting from a Galaxy S22 all last year and whenever the game was live I would get lags at the worst times but never on replays. Recently I decided to test another streaming method: my laptop and connecting to the tv with an HDMI cable. Watched the whole College Football National Championship (4 hrs) without a single lag or spinning arrow. It's a real pain but sometimes you just have to try another method, if one is available of course. These services struggle to get functionality right on all devices, should be a lot better.
  10. We can't trust the sword of a thousand truths to a noob!
  11. Could be magic. Still a variable at this stage but no doubt fits a much needed skillset.

Well if you're a neutral spectator of the EPL you were in for a treat this week. Arsenal were way too good for Liverpool and deserved the 3 points, for us it was one of our worst collective performances this year, I can't remember the last time the back 4 and GK had such a bad collective game. The Gunners wanted it more and kudos to them. The title race is wide open again. (Real talk: Yesterday's result paves the way for City to take it out)

    Except with Niners winning? 🤞
  14. We really were coming from a long way back in 2014. The list was like a terrible haircut and needed some serious hacking. I'm not sure there were many others who would have been up for this job and I'm sure even Roos had moments where he wondered what he signed up for. While it wasn't glamourous I believe this was one of the most important periods in the football club's history.

Yeah I think there will be points scored as well. Stops and turnovers will be worth their weight in gold. It's a horrible thing to think about for me but it's easy to see it coming down to a 2 min drill where #15 makes the big plays and gets them over the line. Can't win if you don't buy a ticket though.
  16. Great to see no.13 back with the group. Has to have a positive effect on everyone.

Very good player and he'll be sorely missed. Tragic for him. Still a hell of a defense though.

Chiefs pass rusher Charles Omenihu tore his ACL yesterday. 7 sacks this season and was massive against the Ravens.

Great fightback. 24-7 down at half time but didn't give in, there was no way we could stop their run especially on the outside. We were just flat out poor in the first half. Already mentioned defending the run but completely unable to get any pressure on Goff as well. I thought the Lions were outstanding in the way they approached this game and really exploited our weakness. Some massive slices of luck helped get us going, the tipped ball Jennings catch and the Aiuik fluke. You need these rubs sometimes and if Purdy doesn't air it out there it doesn't happen. Then Dan Campbell's aggressive approach on 4th down. While it may have been wise to kick the FGs you have to remember its this approach that got the Lions to where they are. They weren't totally void of fortune themselves when Moody missed the field goal from 48 or Purdy couldn't get it to a wide open Jennings to start the 2nd half but that's football, take what they give you. The bright lights kicked in and all of a sudden Gibbs fumble and the 2 Reynolds drops, the pressure was on and Detroit seemed to wince in the moment. Once they lost the lead and had to rely on pass to get it back the momentum had well and truly shifted. They will be better for it, congratulations to Detroit for getting this far. Arguments could be made we weren't the best team on the night but I think we still deserved to win. Not thinking about the SB just yet happy to enjoy being NFC champs for the moment. Any picks for who's going to win would be extremely premature at this stage but the Chiefs have done it and know what is expected. For the time being, go Niners!

Horrible start. Lions getting a lot of gold with outside running as expected.

Still coming to terms with it. You knew the day was coming but never wanted it to. Timing is interesting but I do believe him when he says he's running out of energy. Last year was very hard, the COVID season was horrible but even to have the drought breaking title winning season ripped through by COVID would have taken it out of everyone. I think he'll manage again, not for at least a year but he will be back. Whether it's German national team, PSG, Real, Socceroos, he'll be back.
