  1. Why give a contract to a player who is not going to play? We are such a “nice” Club Isn’t it better to find a young kid who is ready to go. I have no problem with Harley, he is giving himself every chance, but soft tissue has a habit of repetition
  2. Feel free to have your own opinion, as i have mine we have a spot to lose if he doesn’t play I value that...
  3. I did 10 years of Physio and numerous visits to hospital for surgery when i was a kid. I had my own rehab to deal with. if he is popping a calf now whilst doing mild training compared to Matchday Conditions, i don’t think he is going to make it. We cannot afford to carry a blank spot into the season We need to win games, to regain some respect from last year MFCSS has nothing to do with it, and i do not subscribe to such tripe anyway
  4. I don’t think this experiment will get much further Chronic injuries are what they are...
  5. Yes more information is needed, just written very carefully
  6. Yes. I am not expecting 15-20 games of High Qual, but we need at least 5-10 where he is in the best players
  7. Yes, but it is a big if. he showed absolutely no improvement last year as the season progressed, that is a very big worry to me
  8. I agree. But he does need to show serious form this year. we need him.
  9. I would expect it. We cannot allow 2019 to happen again
  10. My opinion of the above has more to do with the President than Pert. I have always been concerned that a Western Australian who played for Meth Coke is the President of the MFC I am sure Glenn is a fine businessman, who networks with the “Right” people, but i wonder whether he is the President we need it wasn’t just injuries that crashed us out last year, how deep did it go? If Mach 5 is close enough to know that all is not well off field, then it better be sorted out quickly Just my thoughts...
  11. When have we come back? News to me...
  12. I am glad he is finally “ready”
  13. I think a 5 year ban would suffice one can dream Would be a great thing to see
  14. New Evidence obtained concerning Essendrug Damming Evidence
  15. Reg had a long run back in the halcyon days mate. We all watched it after school!!
  16. 7 years for a gun player is a fair trade in today’s market. i have never been a fan of long contracts, but sometimes they make good sense. Grundy can play all over the ground, the Filth don’t want to play against him, particularly in September I am sure it will be front loaded then taper off as he gets more battle weary
  17. Dursma was a great footballer in 1988 Did his knee the next season???
  18. That’s why he plays Talked to Robbie Flower not long before he left us, he told me with great passion that he loved playing with Carl, and hated it when he went back to the Saints and loved him again as Captain/Coach!!
  19. Big Carl was the Captain/Coach He Plays, alright...
  20. Big Carl not in the side? Sorry but that is not on
  21. A good year is about September participation, particularly for the Club where the game began. anything less is total rubbish and shameful
  22. I would much prefer it if all AFL listed players went out to Bush Fire ravaged towns around Australia and helped out for 3-4 days. That would create a lot of good will Vic v The Allstars does absolutely zero for me. The Allstars is not a place or town The Big V was all about killing WA or SA and vice versa Once again the AFL have mo idea
  23. Yes i said it at the time. The third year was the bonus. It has given us a Premiership Player who wants to Coach his knowledge This may well be his greatest asset for us
