  1. I know enough about performing at a high level. It’s not easy, but many do it well. The MFC hasn’t been able to consistently hold that level. That is the core problem.
  2. Replays give you more close ups and different angles. His best shot over the last 2 years hasn’t been great. Many on here will call that harsh, but the top sides set a standard we have to get to
  3. Watch a few replays from the last 2 years, Closely a lot of jogging around from Jones, the game gets quicker every year
  4. I liked the first 2 minutes. The club was prepared to take all the criticism of the journalists (and us i think...lack of leadership has always been a topic on here) The rest was fairly standard.. after Part 3 i will elaborate further. nice cutting at the beginning (kudos to the editor)
  5. You can think however you like, he is a blue collar hard worker not elite. But if you think differently, fine Actions are louder than words
  6. Keith giving up the Cigs? will his body cope with this??
  7. Absolutely. We haven’t returned yet, regardless of what has been done over the Summer and there are a lot of clubs who want to keep it that way.
  8. Well said MB. Sure would make a big difference
  9. Agreed sadly. To many broken collarbones. Brian Wilson talked about it last year
  10. Jones was never a star. Loyal and a very hard worker yes
  11. He was very ordinary last year. Loyalty aside. i am hoping he finds it hard to get a game in 2020
  12. I hope you are right! He could be absolute dynamite if he gets his mind right, to really go for it
  13. Keith Richards has given up cigarettes ? I am in shock!! Been a Stones fan since i was 7 years old Wow!!
  14. That’s exactly how i feel. Happy for girls to play the game, good on them. but it is hard to watch 3 goals per side. Long way to go.
  15. Well he does work for the hun. He doesn’t have to lie much lower. Ralph referred to him as a “revered player manager” whereas you and i would look at it differently. Nixon was obviously having a “good day” and his points were quite valid
  16. Ralph could have Written the same story and put his name to it. it makes little difference
  17. In this instance Nixon is dead right, it’s rare i know!
  18. Player retention would be a major hurdle. like the Swans, The Map of Tassie would need to be successful each year or it would wither.
  19. Excellent
  20. Ivor Warne-Smith was a door at the entrance of the old MCC. An excellent meeting point i used for years. “see you at Ivor at Half Time....” his Playing career was a few decades before me and i am not young anymore....
  21. Peter Moore definitely played in ‘87 he was overlooked late in the year and didn’t play September Jimma took his spot
  22. Can’t go Past RDB and Robbie Frank “bluey” Adams, Stuie Spencer and Tiger Ridley close behind honourable mention to Brian Dixon Allen Jakovich could have been our greatest, but his back was suspect before he came to us
  23. To many broken bones
