When i get back to Melbourne i plan to put it all together

I am only pessimistic when the Club is a disgrace to itself. sadly that has been often, I actually get more angry when supporters get stuck into me for it!!! I want to win Finals, always have I think the Club is serious this year Last year may be a positive force that has woken The Demon compliment accepted

What’s the overall standard of matches like so far? i know not all teams take it seriously, but it is vital for us. We have to wipe 2019 off the table. Beat Whorethorn next week and a trip to Perth becomes a challenge, not an evil nightmare

Why the Excuses for the Bombers?

Right with ya Fork ? -
Fair call. We are certainly in a unique situation Leaving the MCC did us no favours though, because the club didn’t grow itself properly. all in the past now
-
Thanks so much for that Feel the Bern. What a great pick up he continues to be
-
The Club decided to go alone in the early 80’s. The extent of the breakaway i cannot say, but it certainly happened schwab and Jimmy got us back in
-
Soylent Green, yes my mistake The ride has begun!!
-
Agreed, but if we are playing Top Form football from now to, say Round 5 then i think Memberships will be bought. if last Saturday was an aberration then we will struggle, but it didn’t feel that way
-
Yes. We walked away. entirely our own fault
-
I think some serious good form in these early games, particularly if we have strong last Quarter’s will get the Membership rolling, but it must be sustained

Simple Maths Winning increases Memberships

It was all just going to happen The typical MFC attitude we have all seen so often. Peter Jackson knew he was in for a tough gig after that -

I haven’t been more embarassed than walking out of the ground that day Essendrug supporters everywhere laughing I almost walked away from the club that day. They just didn’t care enough, so why should i.... Long time ago now -
I have had a bit of practical experience making films and TV shows to. There’s a lot more to it than you currently know. Ever been in an edit suite for 24 hours when a show “isn’t working” and it has to be finished at midday. Directors and producers ready to punch on, because each can’t agree on a certain sequence? But they have to decide...and they know it Post Production is a tough gig and the MFC doco has been meticulously planned i have no doubt...

Soilent Green is on the way

You could well be right, but i am glad the Club is standing firm. Ultimately the MFC will be stronger if we have a home base close to the ‘G. We can always build a 2nd facility later in a different area. But the pulse of the MFC comes from the ‘G.

I always loved it when Tulip played for the Big V and i was watching the game with mates or at work I would just tell them to watch the great man, there was none better he never let me down always played a blinder Everyone was in awe of Flower when he played for the Big V because they watched him the same way we did every week Never a more fair player either The fact he has not one Brownlow to his name is an utter disgrace RIP Robbie thanks for the dinner we had before Marnbrook went to air
-
All those sides you mention with smaller Memberships, who actually have had more success than us, have a home base to go to. We do not. The facts you keep regurgitating do not fit the MFC. We cannot train on our home ground. That is a huge difference in circumstances Over and out....

Robbie was like a Cat, and with such poor eyesight he was truly magnificent Up there with Jimi Hendrix

You keep looking at it through the eyes of what other clubs have got. we are in a different situation, can you grasp that? Our situation is that if we do not start winning regularly the club will die i don’t care about what other clubs do, as far as i am concerned they just dilute sponsorship opportunities You mention St kilda, now first off they have a huge supporter base Moorabbin to Frankston is mostly Saints, and even they have huge debt but they went “home” We are not allowed the same privalege, we in a unique situation, so other clubs success is of no concern In this discussion Nort have won 4 flags whilst we languished, that does count for a small club they still show fight, most weeks in a season when has the MFC shown fight like that? A few little spikes and then it dies off Pert is waiting for the Football Dept to deliver, otherwise his hands are tied We have had no success for so long that nobody trusts that we will prevail. Winning is everything. It creates passion and attendance. It gets Prime TV ? Spots that sell advertising space for prospective sponsors. Sponsorship is what will get us a Training base with Government Assistance. Winning is Priority one. Without it we will end up sharing a ground with FITZROY

Wow. I get a lecture on Video Editing now 32 Years editing at Ripponlea and Southbank Directing a film is easy, just point and shoot... Right ok ? Yes the Media Team is recruited from outside, that’s why i made the original comment I may well know their work I will wait for the credit roll... Point and shoot is easy...Maybe you are thinking of the Army again....

I have always said Winning is THE priority I haven’t moved any goal posts at all You are conparing us to sides who have won Flags in the Modern Era. That is not where we are at. We are still untrustworthy to potential sponsors and backers You just like arguing for thee sake of it The End.

I know i have read it all. But he is well connected at more than one club, has been posting for years It may just be personal, but he knows something
