My 3 word player analysis V Brisbane
Oliver/Brayshaw/Viney/ANB/Petracca/Gawn - Brave Petty & May : Damage done on way down but Brave Lever : Truth is a defence in a Libel suit. Sparrow/Rivers : work on skills Salem : NQR (Physically) Spargo /Kossie: increase involvement Hibberd/Melsham : Buy a watch (Their time has come) Jackson : not our worry it seems Brown : needs another forward

POSTGAME: SF vs Brisbane
If I made the mistake /kryios tantrum like Lever (with the $$ he is on ) I would be sacked from my job. Inexplicable.lack of discipline by Kozzie, Lever and a couple of other incidents. Keep May,Petty, Oliver, Viney,Brayshaw , Petracca ,Gawn & ANB (Effort plus) . Their efforts were fantastic but were let down by brain fades. I hope some people recognise that they owe the MFC We MUST have more variety in the Forward line !!!

It’s not the top 6, it’s the bottom 6
You have got to be a bit fair in that the "degree of turnoverism" = function (the amount of heat in the kitchen) as distinct from the wide open dinner plate. Yeh, i would like his brother ,too (as would 16 other Clubs), but the one we have got is a "contributing" premiership player.

I think we need a definitive definition of a "Turnover" . None of the scribes have mentioned the intensity that Sydney brought to the table the other night

Christian Petracca hairline fracture.
Yeh, but JVR was not in the side !! Either this form is full of doctors or else some people have just googled fibula. Do not know which ?

CHANGES: SF vs Brisbane
Yeh, and drop Gawn !!!

POSTGAME: QF vs Sydney
Lacking a genuine 2nd tall forward. Max must ruck !! Lever a liability in man on man situation. (Less waving arms around and providing instructions to midfield and more practice in using the left side of his body plus manning up.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
12 months ago some people had him out of the side, now AA . Cannot work "some people" out , in that they are so quick to criticise.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Rubbish topic !! All this is doing is inflating Kane Cornes & Matthew Lloyd's already enlarged egos !!

CHANGES: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Yeh, but we miss him (or a similar player !!)

CHANGES: Rd 22 vs Carlton
This kid is still learning . Let us celebrate that he is actually playing at the level he is. Our hassle is that TMac (who some people bagged when he is there) is a pretty important cog in our fwd line in that : He is quick He runs in straight lines with momentum Is a good Pack Mark and importantly is an accurate kick for goal Applicants should apply !!! Is there anyone on the list who can supply this.? Somebody, but somebody must move & present inside the 45 degree angle, then our goal kicking will improve. Deep fwd pocket shots do not have a high success rate.

In Season - Loading/Periodisation: Put your conjecture here.
The opponent not the crowd provide the atmosphere

CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
Solution : Put Tomlinson in at FF .He would provide a contest and runs straight at the ball !!! We have got the Mid/Small Fwds.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
I have to admit that Gus is one of my favourite players (ala TMac). Consequently I tend to zero in when he comes into play. He has learnt or been put in the position to be adaptable. e.g when he first started he was played on the HFF and Paul Roos made the comment that Gus would not be playing there forever as he was still learning the game. His "year in the sun year" proved how good he was. The concussion issue proved how good he needed to be i.e. change technique (and put your bum into where your head was going !!). Then he becomes the inaugural president of the "wingmans" club . Premiership !!!! This even meant being the defensive winger and away from the limelight , but cometh the hour i.e. Finals showed how well he reads the game and contributes. This year he has been flexible and is really one (if not in top couple) HBF in the AFL based on his ability to read the play. "Flexibilitywise" he melds into the middle last week like he had never left it. But as other posters have said this time around he is not playing as the ball magnet, but the fix it bloke !!! Why would MFC let a player (on & off the field ) like this leave !!!

CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
I have been thinking for a couple of weeks, how well sparrow has been playing . Hard role for a young player being 5th or 6th Mid !!! He supplies grunt ...al part of the team thing.
-
CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Bit hard to take marks/compete when the ball is down the other end of the ground.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
All part of the negotiating process. The Club will be trying to screw him $$$ as in a business and he is attempting to utilise any of his bargaining power. He would know Jackson's situation so it is a merry go round . Surely he would not be offered Oliver's or TRac's package but i reckon he would command Viney/Salem equivalent at least. I hope he does not leave but..........

Could Josh Frydenberg be the new AFL CEO?
They (AFL) egos are way down in the arrodensity level cf Jen's husband. How about Angus, Barnyard or Bridget MCK !!!
