  1. I'm in M51 mate, was just showing LFS where their seats are.
  2. Ok, I looked at trying to get anything in N48-55 in doubles, no luck. Didn't seem to be much of an option there 30 minutes ago, so settled for M51.
  3. N14-21 All corporate, N48-53 the same?
  4. I was wondering about that. Harmes can bob up for the occasional goal as well.
  5. As for the commentary on Maynard from Channel 7 etc, that’s a total disgrace. Maynard was in the air granted, but who in this age of footy turns their shoulder to bump mid air rather than putting the hands or arms out instead to brace for impact. It was a dog act from a dog bloke.
  6. We had our chances. Almost double the inside 50’s. At some point you have to put responsibility on the players to execute basic skills and decision making. They didn’t, we lost, it’s that simple.
  7. Collingwood is training on the G this Friday. They also have a lunch after. McCrae mentioned it last night on AFL360.
  8. Laurie had a direct hand in the lead up to 4 or 5 goals in the 3rd and 4th quarter with quick hands and good game sense. He looks to see the game unfold a bit quicker at times.
  9. Make sure you are logged in to ticketek before you queue for the tickets.
  10. INS – McDonald, Fritsch, Woewodin, D.Turner OUTS – Schache (omitted, Round 23 sub)
  11. Have done numerous hamstrings myself. Rehab consists of ramping up from low intensity running to high intensity over stages depending on the severity of the injury. This can take anywhere from 1-6 weeks depending on how bad the tear is. If you can’t complete one stage of rehab without pinging in the muscle you repeat the step after one day rest. From what I am reading he has completed full training and was ready to play which is a good sign, but pulled up sore after. It looks like he pushed himself to come back too quick, had some pain in the hammy and has been setback also due to the hospital stay. It’s nothing really to worry about, he needs to rest and continue the rehab, allow the muscle to heal properly.
  12. Could be an important player this year. Can play on ball and as a half forward flank if that’s even a position anymore. He could be a good option shutting down someone like Daicos. Ok, he is not our most valuable player, but he can play a significant role negating the oppositions better players and can rotate through the middle if required. He is good depth and we don’t have that much depth through the middle IMO, although we have a few elite players there.
  13. I'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere. But the Age is reporting pick 4 from Essendon is on the table: 5.52pm Dons’ pick 4 on the table With just under two hours remaining before the trade deadline, Essendon football boss Josh Mahoney has told AFL Trade Radio that the Bombers would be open to trading pick No.4 if the right deal came about. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/afl-trade-period-2022-live-updates-day-eight-20221012-p5bp8q.html?post=p5486x#p5486x
  14. Yeh I know mate, I was just answering the previous posters question about the value of picks. 👍
  15. The stuff written about his Mother appears to be wide of the mark. To me based on Luke’s comments today it was always his desire to be at Freo from a young age. He had always wanted to go back there, it was his dream. Our recruiting staff should have known this. If they knew and were willing to take the risk well I guess I can accept it knowing that we won a flag while he was here, but we have lost out on this deal I think purely in terms of pick value at the moment. Of course we won’t know until we see what the club does with the picks, but it’s not a nice feeling at the moment seeing him in Freo colours and would rather him still here at the club. I think our club staff and players probably feel the same. I wish him all the best and hope we make the best of the situation with what we have. Also hoping if the Grundy situation eventuates that it works out to be a better duo than Dogga and Max, fingers crossed.
  16. 12,13 & 30 is equivalent to pick 1 in terms of value on the draft calculator. Actually it’s over by 100 points.
  17. I don’t think it’s likely that we will hold onto their picks. Going by previous trade periods I assume we will likely trade out what we get to move up further into this years first round.
  18. Interesting, where did you hear / read that?
  19. I'd be sad to see Harmes leave. By the looks of things we will be shedding a fair amount of salary during this Trade Period? Does anyone have an idea on the value of contracts that Jackson, Hunt, Bedford and Harmes would add up to? I assume they'd equate to over the $1 - 1.2M mark which begs the question who are we bringing in other than Grundy? Or are we looking to make space for a couple of contract renewals?
  20. https://www.afl.com.au/trade/trade-tracker?promotile
  21. Fyfe? He’s finished as a force in the AFL.
  22. Ok, it could be. Tom Browne mentioned it was today, could be wrong of course.
  23. It's assumed/rumoured that he will inform the club of his intentions during his exit interview, which I believe was today?
  24. 3 goals down with 3 minutes left in our season Goodwin decides to finally take a risk and throw Petty forward. Changes the game and we almost get over the line. I don’t like to be critical of Goody but he had 12 weeks to experiment with forward line set ups before the finals and to try Petty or JVR. I have to admit that Ben Brown has become a liability. Umpiring was worse than last weeks rubbish. Off season we have to look at the reason we have been in front most games and tanked the last half. It’s a pattern and whether it’s fitness or game plan or both. I don’t know, but looks to me we haven’t been running out games. Feels sad to say this but it feels like we have wasted a year where we could have gone back to back and we’ve shot ourselves in the foot.
