How much under 18's football have you watched this year?

Judging by the poor state of your post, and your avatar, id take a stab in the dark and say you're not the most creative person getting around.

I went down to watch Watts today: · Rarely sighted in the first half. The conditions weren't really suited to him but he worked into the game and his second half was very good; · He has excellent evasive skills for a big man, likes to baulk past players and always gets away with it; · In the second half he played as an onballer and was very effective; · It was very surprising to not see him play in a key position; · If Melbourne did pick him up I wouldn't be surprised if he was given plenty of time to find his feet. On a side note Tyrone Vickery seems to have immense talent. A real Cox type mobile ruckman who is very good below his knees. He’s kicking looks a bit awkward but he hits his targets. He was rotated in the goal square in the third quarter which seemed to free up Kyle Martin (number 4) who kicked 3 third quarter goals. Anyone who saw Vickery in the Champs will confirm his ability to take a contested mark up forward. I'm not a fan of when people say a player will be "certain top 5" or "surely first round" if they haven't watched a huge amount of under 18's football. This appears to me to be very un-educated. In saying this,Vickery would be the type of player that many clubs would be very keen to get their hands on, especially Melbourne.

Bell is a liabilty of the highest order. He's gonebackwards in a massive way. When we had a big sniff in the last he showed great courage to win a free kick in the back half only to obsoletely butcher the ball with a disgraceful kick across the other side of the ground that picked out two Bombers which resulted in a goal. It summed up the footballer Daniel Bell is. Gutsy and Clumsy.

How about when Bruce marked the ball 45 meters out, his opponent didn't let go of him, he gets legged and it was called play on.

When he's streaming down the field with the footy he hates to take the first option. He is forever looking to hold onto the ball and be selfish. He has all the natural ability in the world but lacks footy smarts. I hope he averages four goals a game for the rest of the year as a second round pick would be great.

I do appreciate the report but the fact you have predicted where you think players will be drafted based on the one game of under 18's is a tad silly. What about the talented South Australians like Hartlett or Vic Country's Sidebottom and co? Removing the predictions and keeping your post as a match review would hold more weight.

Aaron Davey would fetch very close to a first round pick IMO. The ability to break the lines is something that Melbourne is lacking so keeping, and drafting more players of this ilk is imperative.
