  1. Jay Clark is the journo who wrote that tripe. He wouldn't have watched any under 18's football besides the last day of the champs at Docklands.
  2. There is no way either will be available at pick 34.
  3. Gumbleton has had a bad run with both hamstring injuries, a broken collarbone and a back injury which saw miss all of last year. hangon007, if you had seen any of his 5 afl games you would understand Hannibal's quest to get him to the MFC. He stands at 197cm, has great agility, good pace and is a very good mark both on the lead and in a contest. The potential is massive but the injuries surely make him a risk.
  4. Id be surprised if he was still there at 18.
  5. Bigfooty is mostly tripe but the obs on Trengrove's game are quite exciting. http://bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=593361&page=9
  6. I really hate reading so many Bigfooty posts on Demonland. Dylan Grimes has had an exceptional year for the Northern Knights and looks to have enormous talent. I have seen him play at least 10 times this year and its my belief that he will make an exceptional KPB in the AFL system. If Melbourne's backline wasn't so promising I would hope our recruiting staff would be considering drafting him. He will go 30-40 in the national draft IMO.
  7. Serhat also is very good at putting his body in a better position than his opponent in one on one marking contest, in the body on body contests his very smart in allowing his opponent under the ball. He's not quick but does lead hard and he will chase defensively when the opposition try to clear the ball out of their defensive 50.
  8. Moloney was the best player on the ground in the second quarter. He won contested possesions when outnumbered on two occusions and his left foot out of danger is sublime. He also kicked a nice snaped goal under pressure. He's a very impressive prospect.
  9. He played for The Northern Knights this year as an overage player.
  10. Good to see someone else on the Majak Daw bandwagon. I've seen him a lot this season and he kept improving every week. Along with Jurrah he could be another cult hero down at the Dees.
  11. There's a fair chance that if we had of beaten Richmond we would have lost to Freo.

Why on earth would Port want Bell and Newton? You are a waste of cyberspace.
  13. You can tell by the smile on his face that he loves playing in the AFL.
  14. Another un-educated comment. You obviously have not seen what Rohan, Cunnington or Stevens have done this season in both TAC Cup or the Championships.
  15. Give it a spell mate, you have no idea what you are on about. Name me some good footballers that have gone home to S.A and i'll name you some that haven't : Brian Lake Andrew Mackie Byron Schammer Will Minson Jared Rivers Adam Cooney Sam Fisher Alan Didak
  16. You sound like a bitter 80 year war veteran.
  17. Newton is contracted next year, you should know that.
  18. Incorrect IMO. Swallow is a much better footballer than Jones because he can hit targets consistently under pressure. Jones has the ability to win the ball at stoppages but is not polished enough with his disposals. Id be very interested to find out how many turnovers Jones has had that resulted in a score for the opposition. I will endeavor to source this information and get back to you.
