See that's what I thought at the time too. People talking Prismall up, beware! Prismall would look very different in any other line up other than a great side in Geelong. Moloney at the time looked good at Geelong when they were travelling well. In 2004, it is IMO that our side made the finals through the contributions and the hard ball gets of one Scott Thompson. I am still filthy on him going, regardless of him wanting to go home. I could see the class in him.

I think they took him, because they waited to see on another player if they would come up. I still have the feeling that there is one or two players struggling to come up week to week. I did post last week that Jones from what I've heard has been sore of late. Bruce also. I think that's why they took him.

All the more reason, to let him play out the year at least, another pre-season and development under Bailey over summer. I'm sure will see alot of improvement in him come April'09.

I've been really impressed with CJ's work ethic of late, and his hunger. If only we could bottle it! I didn't have him in my back 6, but he is one that has proven me wrong. Good on him!

You can say that again! We still may get the 1st pick after yesterdays results. You definitely would think 1st or 2nd pick now. Port winning has blown them out of priority pick calculations now. Fremantle should finish 3rd last now and they play Port next week at AAMI. West Coast still have to play Fremantle and Essendon at Subiaco (winnable games - but certainly not with their form). Then later Melbourne v West Coast at the G to decide the bottom 2 on the ladder. Therefore either Watts or Rich. At worst the 3rd pick.

Cheers...its a pretty good line up. Some will say Bruce should be in the 18 on the field, but because of his versatility it probably cost him votes in either category... He still made the side.

I am hoping 2-3 years time we'll be competing for the finals (position 5-9) at this time of the year.
