Wow. A low key branding worth "at least" 8 million a year. Pretty impressive indicator of the underlying worth.
Edit: SJX: Hrmnm. I hate this date on this month (in general). Always catches me in one way or another.
Now that I've had a cofffee, was this also put out there last April fools?
If not last year, 2002 saw the McG™.
"Very frustrating. It's amazing how many counter punches are set up by opposition teams from their kick ins, against us "
Funnily enough I took note of the 'score sources' CD stats this morning. North scored 0.1 from their kick-ins. Not that they really needed to though.
Thank god they even told everyone how to pronounce his name. (Hello SEN, are you listening? "Chainy", "Pe-tard", "Be-nell", only missing "Robinson" - way to sound like rank amateurs) Good articles.
Kick well, greater than 30 metres, to someone who is attended by more than 0 and less than 2 people.
That and having more than half a forward line (or if you like, more than 3 people in front of the footy)
"Wouldn't Vlad and the media love seeing that, Green streaming through the MCG centre, 6 small forwards leading up and him kicking it 45 meters along the ground "
Bring back the drop-kick!
Grin. I've always been a little perplexed at the interest, but horses for courses.
Hopefully Grimes is back at it for the MFC sooner rather than later - I've been looking forward to seeing him cement his spot and kick on.
Yeah that's what needs to be made known loud and clear.
From the sound of the upgrades though, even on average days the crowd will be significantly larger. Exit points perhaps need some hastening.
"Dunn mainly did a tagging role might just be his role"
Was also doing some nice things on half forward. Excellent hard get and handpass over his head resulted in the Juice goal IIRC.
The last photo has Dunn and Moloney heading for the bench after half time.
Some photos for the crowd people:
Edit:
Oh, Laidley and a few of the boys were keen observers as you'd expect.
Re the the last quarter the rain was close to horizontal for the first 15 minutes, blowing to the wing/dogs half-forward.
RR: "I cant think why Jamar would agree to go onto the LTI to let another player competing for his spot while he is injured for up to 8 weeks?"
I can. But we'll see.
"M. Jamar has been added to the long-term injury list (stress fracture in his foot). Will be replaced by Jake Spencer."
deegirl from 'ology has been on the money previously.
