  1. i'd call a block using your body using an arm would come under shepherding, holding, chopping or pushing.....but not a block reading those appallingly worded ruck rules i can only think what a joke the afl just seem totally unable to write the rules of the game adequately
  2. you must have been on industrial strength drugs then when juice was on the list, picket :}
  3. last week's game against carlscum was so tense in the last qtr i got the angela merkels
  4. if gil wants to get real state of the nation afl feedback, then he should invite the demonland illuminati around for dinner. it might be too much of shock for him, but
  5. looks like rdb has overdosed and norm hasn't noticed
  6. won't play jetta. he only got a 1/4 in the magoos
  7. you mean effendon?
  8. so true mono. especially the mad sprint forward, inevitably end up with no defense set and an easy kick to an unmarked man usually in the 50arc. net result an extra 2 kicks and a goal for something of no actual consequence. pmo
  9. terrible game, umpires getting very technical, hwfua having a mare
  10. yes, go figure, but at least the club didn't question the reporting as they say, rjay....there is three truths....yours.....mine.....and the real truth
  11. i'd have thought an official report to the board trumps a bit of media propaganda by the coach, wouldn't you?
  12. bit unfair, bub players were unavailable due to 1) operations 2) shortened pre-season due to finals 3) injuries 4) extensive number and duration in rehab group over preseason whether he could have done better, i'm not in a position to really know but he was certainly up against major constraints in player availability
  13. well that is in direct opposition to what misson told the board. he specifically quoted the deficient preseason loads achieved across the list with actual statistics......the required workloads were just not achieved and were so low it was worth highlighting to the board
  14. Finally an update........up by 273 52,043
  15. the pre-season is certainly part of it, maybe a big part, but as others have said there is a lot of other things contributing. we don't seem to be making much of fist about anything. very disappointing
  16. and it's whack not wack ?
  17. no sympathy for morris. he made his bed, he can lie in it (no pun intended)
  18. 4.1 this qtr - that's better accuracy
  19. sounds like it's blowing a gale, jack
  20. yeah it shouldn't irk traditionalists. when i played there was no padding on posts. now with so much padding many goals are denied which does irk me, so this solution would be a good trade-off
  21. it would certainly make a huge difference, wyl and allow many more accurate decisions but it is still a 2 dimensional video and unless you have multiple cameras on different angles there will still be some incidents that will be hard to pin down. cricket still has problems with low down catches because of the 2 dimensional aspect perhaps multiple technologies (snicko, infrared etc). like in cricket, could be used but expensive, given it could occur in so many different non-fixed positions on the ground (unlike in cricket or around the goal posts).
  22. or just not reported? they must have sold a few hundred in the last 4 weeks at least. surely
