  1. can you confirm whether the carpark area (proposed for buildings) is crrt or mrc at the moment?
  2. given it's just a job, held no doubt steer any offspring to the filth, his first love
  3. don't want to run into jacinta, but
  4. look up melbourne membership for say redlegs and tridents, if this suits your budget. take note of seat numbers available then find the mcg seating web site. on here you can enter a seat number and then look at the view as if sitting there and compare to other options. remember to check if seat is undercover or not, if important to you. then talk to membership. sooner the better so you have max seat options left. note all reserved seats tickets currently come with grand final guarantee (approx adds $200 pa to ticket cost)
  5. just fyi land height (not platform or rail height) at caulfield station is approx 38m land height at glen huntly park is approx 49m so there is an 11m height difference north to south with the slope down to the north this means ovals will probably be dug in quite a few metres on one side creating an embankment which would be good for viewers without affecting sight lines for racing. Probably deep enough to allow for some lockable storage facilities to avoid the wasted time of moving gear as at aami above heights are not precise for exact placement sites, but a reasonable indication
  6. ps the area involved in the above is just the carpark area currently part of the mrc lease the ovals area is separate and part of the trust property
  7. if the area involved stays part of the mrc lease, they get the rental income from mfc if the area involved reverts back to the trust they get a reduction in fees from the trust of course in both cases they get the privilege of having the great mfc as a neighbour 🤣
  8. wouldn't expect clarry to put out a coherent statement, but isn't that part of what managers are for?
  9. when we unthread the threads
  10. some pretty savage comments there from the fans
  11. maybe because they could move management and admin there too? so, all in one place? otherwise i'd agree.
  12. ... somebody just walked over my grave
  13. well i doubt you (or anyone here) will ever get to read his contract, so you will have to keep wondering. but you do raise the issue of the balance of power currently existing in typical afl contracts. the players do seem to hold the power, and earn big money. not many workplace employment contracts would be so generous.
  14. pure gold comedy there, gs
  15. he was already getting that, so no change hope he enjoys the gws home crowds
  16. i'm surprised no-one has suggested clarrie take a pay cut which could reduce our contribution to a more acceptable level, say around $200k. just doesn't sit well when his bad behaviour is the sole cause for this disaster
  17. third round pick for clarry won't do his self esteem and mental health any favours
  18. never ever thought i'd be rooting for da-gooey
  19. does backending some of it make any difference to cap formula?
  20. we need to get the good(?) people of moe to rise up and protest in the streets
  21. so a packet of chips. why even bother.
  22. demon forever fights on
