  1. Exactly. I was able to forward tickets in prior weeks, but not the last time. Had to take screenshots to forward them on. Have used printed screenshots for other tickets. Ticketek just hopeless....Don't bother calling them, they don't answer their phones. Wait for a repeat of the Finals tickets allocations disasters they perpetrated in previous years.
  2. ....and the reason it will be mid-year because that is when the new AFLPA bargaining agreement is expected to be signed. At the moment Clubs and players don't know how much money is in the pot. It has to be signed sometime between June and end of October. Once it is then the pie can be divvied up.
  3. Unfortunately Toby Bedfords streak ends this week. Played all 9 games for Casey and the seniors.
  4. No, but I suspect that would be the case....
  5. 57,058 Really small increase since last week....have the numbers not been tallied over Easter? Still 13K ahead of last years position.
  6. 1. Ticketek I have had reserved seat entry tickets ( tickemaster) to the MCC for the Richmond game 3 weeks beforehand, yet Trident reserved tickets for last nights game are only available 72 hours beforehand( more like 48). Bloody impossible to manage when you are forwarding them to other people. 2. COVID Plenty of people still afraid of catching the virus in crowds. Seems irrational to me, as you are just a likely by mixing with anyone with schoolkids or just going to the supermarket. But hey, that's the way these people feel, and they are not going to the footy. Much easier to watch it on the TV and guarantee staying safe. 3. Middle of Easter Break. Plenty of people gone away. St. Kilda only had 18K at their game, and that probably includes the medallion club seats in that total. 4. Giants and Suns When they can only get 4014 to their game in Western Sydney recently, it tells you exactly how many genuine supporters they have.
  7. He's been missing for quite a while now.....
  8. It is equally not the frees given, but the ones that aren't called. The Hawkins push in the back, gave Geelong a win, but it is only 1 free kick for statistics. If the umpires start calling throws against the Dogs, or stop calling in the back when they throw themselves forward in tackles, then the stats change really quickly.
  9. Quad injury 3 weeks ago. Still limping last week
  10. Absolutely.....I couldn't get a ticket using a computer, because according to them my credit card has been locked. Rubbish! Then went to phone app and bought the same tickets using the same credit card. Why can we get entry barcodes 3 weeks beforehand for the Richmond game as an MCC member, but MFC reserved seat members have to wait until 3 days beforehand? Guarantee we will have the same problems with Ticketek come finals time....AGAIN! Don't bother calling them, they don't answer the phones.
  11. At Hawthorn, Clarko coached from the box. At Melbourne Goodwin from the boundary. What change does that make to the roles/responsibilities for Assistant coaches?
  12. Hope Carlton supporters hopes aren't dashed before we get a home game against them later in the season.
  13. Our game was just as bad. HTB rules changed in this match from that which was applied for the whole season. Non decisions...play on...play on. We need umpires who umpire. Lily Mithen was necked by Davidson, lifted then rag-dolled into the ground. That would incur a multi week suspension in Rugby League, yet all we heard was ...play on!
  14. Also sorry we missed this prior to the show.... I agree with BInmans assessment, and would also add that clearances as a statistic can be meaningless....it is the quality and effectiveness that counts. We have shown multiple times last season that we lost clearances, but easily won the game. And in the GF we saw how quality clearances can rip a game open. Scrubby kicks out of the pack or to the outside do little toward scoring, but they still count as clearances. And in this game the conditions were slippery, so quality from both sides really fell down. Not surprising there appeared to be bees to the honey pot, since neither side could get regular clean possession. Hopefully we will get a better picture in better conditions this week, but at some point in the season, we will encounter the wet, slogging type of game, and like this one if we still win, then that is all that matters.
  15. @Its Time for Back to Backhas been busy in conversation with the Membership department this morning: 54,164
  16. And is there any chance they can find a team of boundary umpires who can throw the ball in further than 5 metres? Every last one of them was delivering short throws. Pity was that our rucks didn’t wake up to it all night…..let alone the field umpires who should have recalled them. Maybe the AFL needs to implement the AFLW method of throwing in 5m inboard of the boundary line?
  17. The boys spotted doing a warm up at Surfers ……. Wife impressed with some of the physique’s on display. Maybe not this one?
  18. Very weak knees at the Kennel. They just keep collapsing beneath them. Still it won them a Premiership, but hasn't got them any further in the subsequent 5 years.
  19. Might happen yet. I would imagine the Dogs Board and also their sponsors, that Bevo took such delight in identifying at the start of the conference would be absolutely seething.
  20. Unbelievable how Beveridge coaches...."tell them to give me more uncontested marks" How in the hell does he expect players to do that? Ask their opponents nicely to keep away? His whole mantra came across as ra, ra rather than tactical But what really stood out for me was Goody's calmness and vision, knowing that the momentum would swing at some point . After Fritta's first goal in the 3rd he says something along the lines of " here we go fellas". Or to TMac...."your chance will come".....Or "tell the forwards to give density in defence" when we needed to deny them. And the plan between him and Burgess to give Gawn just a short stint back in the ruck, before releasing Jackson for those final minutes in the 3rd.
  21. And they are really the SA state side, since Port don't have a team yet. Small wonder they have already won 3 Premierships.
  22. Been there a couple of times. Best to catch the bus from Pacific Fair with plenty of parking. There is none at the ground and what is available down the road is limited. The bus ride is an entertaining ride through the cow paddocks to the ground, and full of singing Demons fans afterward ( since there are no local SUNS fans)
