  1. I have just patented a new product called Redleg's Banana Rice Custard. I promise to donate 25% of profits to the MFC.
  2. Kelvin Lawrence (calf) - test Jordie McKenzie (groin) - test Jai Sheahan (ankle) - test Luke Tapscott (groin) - test Josh Tynan (concussion) - test Jack Watts (ankle) - test Liam Jurrah (ankle) - 2 weeks Mark Jamar (calf) - 3 weeks Clint Bartram (knee) - season Jamie Bennell (knee) - season Mitch Clark (foot) - season Aaron Davey (foot) - season Max Gawn (knee) - season Rory Taggert (back) - indefinite Plus James Sellar who has been left out. That is our present injury list 15 players. Many have been out all year like Jurrah and Gawn etc. North have McIntosh and a boy named Tom Curran out. That will go part of the way to explaining why we are struggling. I know there are many other factors, but there is also a lack of team consistency and best players available.
  3. First things first, we must finish no higher than 16th to start the resurrection.
  4. I thought an interesting point in the article was where it stated that CJ gets several hundred thousand dollars a year from Visy and that CJ then is quoted as saying he has done a couple of talks for them. Now lets analyze that. Say $250000.00 a year for doing a talk every second year. That must be great value for money for Visy. What would the best speaker in the country charge for 2 talks, surely not $1million. Yes in 4 years he will have earned $1million for 2 talks on subjects he admitted he didn't know a great deal about. Worse than that the AFL has approved it and continues to do so. Worse still when we hinted at finding ways to retain you know who, the AFL told us they wouldn't allow it. We play under a corrupt regime.
  5. Interesting to see "Judd Inc" swing into activity with a double page spread in the Sun today, about what a great bloke CJ is. Funny how it appears the week of his tribunal foray.
  6. Fear not young Nasher, even we on the "No T$ No B$" thread knew you were joshing.
  7. Yep, should have kept it simple.
  8. Well who would have believed it. Last night I blended a banana into my diet shake and kept reblending after each cup. Ended up swallowing a whole lot of air with my drink. Up all night burping from both ends. I don't blame the banana but what a night. Whats that got to do with footy, well nothing, but we have been so bad that I have resorted to this rubbish.
  9. Two thirds of the way through the season and 14% of the list is out for the year. Another few are close and LJ has already missed the season.
  10. Now calm down Old Dee. Why as a football fan would you want your team to win? Seriously I have said to myself, " self this is the last year that you should put up with this sh-t" . To that end, I want the best drafting/trading position possible and then I will pray to God that we don't stuff up. We can fix our side with one good off season and I think this is the one to do it. It really is now or never for many Dees fans.
  11. I will be very happy to watch those two games, one live at the G and one on TV, hoping for a win.
  12. If Port and Dogs win this week I will agree with you.
  13. The cue can leave the rack after we lose to Port and the Dogs beat the Blues.
  14. Welcome to the masochists club.
  15. I hope Port and Dogs put me out of my misery and win next week. That means I can go to the footy from then and hope to win, as it won't change our ladder position and affect our draft picks.
  16. Can't he be both of ours. I nominated him at the start of the season as a kid I thought could kick on and then next thing he was injured.
  17. My boy Evans gets 2 goals and 19 possies in limited time in his first game back.
  18. Could this happen? GWS lose all remaining games and get GC pick 2 for an under 17 player plus some other part to the deal and then put the pressure on us for pick 3, for us to get JV second round, with us getting the second under 17 pick and maybe another part to the deal. GWS then get Whitfield, Grundy and Toumpas. You could write a book on the permutations.
  19. What about my Dogs scenario? We win 3 and they lose all, some badly and we are above them.
  20. We need Port and Dogs to win another game each if we are to keep our current drafting position. Port play depleted Bombers at home and news this morning is that Ryder has done a calf. Hopefully Port can win this one and then a loss in Darwin by us makes it a certainty as long as Dogs win one more or we don't win 4 more. I am sorry to talk like this but I just want us to have the best chance at a quick rebuild. Like WC and Bombers we could turn it around quickly next year with some new midfield talent.
  21. He is a kid with a bit of ability and I would hate to lose him, before he has a real chance to show us whether he can become a regular senior player. His first game last year was pretty good and most would have been excited by him.
  22. I am a fan of Evans and believe he is a good footballer. I hope he gets the chance next year to show us.
