I see there is another thread on the show but for readers of this one, I thought the show was good. Robbo did well. They covered Ron's life pretty well and it was entertaining. Chris Connolly and a number of staff there last night including Ellie McKenzie. Chris told me the list and recruiting people were very busy at the moment.

The AFL has hit a winner with this month long rumour fest. The publicity generated is keeping footy at the forefront in the off season.

I have so much on my mind, I am getting a migraine and will surely not sleep until the rookie draft is over in December. Some of the issues I am dealing with are: will JV get through to the second round, will we get Dawes, Wellingham, Stevens, Caddy, Pedersen, Rodan, Jacobs, Butcher, Salopek, Byrnes, Young, etc, will we lose Martin, Rivers, Moloney, Morton, Petterd, Spencer, Cook, Davis, Bennell, Bate, Dunn, Sylvia etc, will we get anything for Jurrah, what compo will we get for Rivers, Moloney and Bate, will we trade for Hogan, will we draft Toumpas , Grundy, Kennedy, MacRae, Stringer, Mayes, Wines, Jaksch etc. This a nightmare..

Bombers have gone hard to get Goddard. Hope it upsets a few of their other players.

So many rumours and so many players we are allegedly after, my head is spinning.

Sun saying today Wellingham to WC, Lynch to Pies and Caddy maybe to Roos. It will be very hard for us to get players, we are clearly not a desired destination. FD have their work cut out for them. We better get some Swans spirit.

Great game, sh-thouse entertainment. AFL should be ashamed. 12 months to prepare a few cars with retired players and some olympians, one Paul Kelly song and 3 Temper Trap songs. Hopeless.

Dale Roberts just interviewed on the pre game show. He is out there now.

Apparently there is a game on today. Lets get it over with and then we can move on to the important part of this season for us. The other part was pretty sh-thouse.

We are headed for a very interesting few weeks. When all is said and done, if we could get a couple of good mids in trading, like Wellingham and say Stevens, then draft a few more like JV ,Toumpas and maybe MacRae, we would be far better off than we are currently.

One can only hope. I must say that when Bailey was Coach and we knew we were rebuilding, I accepted our plight. This year however has been a disaster. Hopefully we don't see a repeat, as it is finally getting to me.

Really enjoy reading the trade speculation. Pity though that a lot of it is just made up and never a chance of happening.

Just heard that Dale Roberts is not going to the Draft camp. Clearly trying to fly under the radar.

We will get saturday out of the way and then we can get down to the real football, trading and drafting.
