Heatwave finally over, training should be a bit easier now.

Watched the first 3/4 of the game saturday so far. The umpiring was disgraceful. We showed some glimpses.

Off to the GC next week and playing in the hottest part of the day. We are certainly getting no favours from the AFL. I would take the youngsters and give them another game and some travel experience.

Bit hard when 2 out of 3 weeks we are not on TV in the NAB Cup, yet the power clubs are on every week.

My meal replacement shake tonight was, yes you guessed it, banana flavoured. Actually it was ordinary.

Boys obviously got into the bananas on the flight over and thrashed Port by 2 points. With 21 players out compared to Port's 15 out that has to be encouraging, especially as played in the heat at Renmark. I would imagine the Dees team next week at Casey, will be completely different.

Looks like the GWS have signed up at least half their list to extended contracts. Don't think the other clubs are going to be able to raid them as easily as they thought.

I don't know any one else that didn't see the need to make wholesale changes.

I don't think we would be too happy if they both star and we got SFA for them. As a free agent Beamer was rated as crap by the AFL given our compo.

Brisbane reporter on SEN was really talking Beamer and Stef up this morning. Hope they don't embarrass us.
