CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
And a Crow dropped it and then it was kicked 8 metres to Tex , who goaled and put them in front and then another Crow pushed Pickett in the back as he tried to mark 20 out from our goal and then another Crow hand balled it straight out, all in the last two minutes and all not paid to us after several dubious frees and goals therefrom were handed to the Crows. Funny game footy.

Mark Williams to the Pies?
Choco will be 63 in August. He won’t get a senior gig again. Yze could and that is a worry, as we have already lost Burgess.

Mark Williams to the Pies?
And there you have it. As I said weeks ago, the big signing that could save a Board and keep Mitchell at Hawks. Could the quinella be Ross Lyon to Blues.

Gary Moorcroft
It's a long way from the best mark ever.

Another SHOCKING Decision
Cats keep on getting. Hocking back to Cats with whatever advantages in place. Brad Scott possible replacement and brother of Cats Coach. Labour Government pouring money into the club which is in a labour seat.

Time to panic?
It is impossible to smash a side without good forward entry and multiple scoring options. Atm I think we would all agree we have neither. For example how do we compare with the Dogs? Bont, MacRae, Smith, Libba, Hunter, JJ and Treloar and Dunkley on return, can all dispose well under pressure, with Treloar probably the weakest, but so quick he makes metres. Then forward they have Naughton, English, Bruce, Weightman etc who are clearly better than our guys. We have a better defence, but their defence is under less pressure, because of their mids and forwards.

Are the Demons pretenders?
Sadly, lose to Port and if Lions and Cats win, we are 5th, with a hard draw to come and 6th looking likely soon after.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
Perhaps if his team mates gave him a forward option or told him he was “hot”it might have worked out a bit differently on those occasions.

Are the Demons pretenders?
Not disagreeing that he isn't the saviour, but his size and ability would have helped. TBH, Weid has played far better than BB the last 2 VFL games.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
Don't want to get howled down and I love the kid and think he will be a very good player, but LJ fumbled numerous times and late in the game pulled out of a contest letting an opponent get an easy ball. Just saying. I am sure it will be pointed out to him.

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 12 vs UWS Giants
Two fat ladies- 21. All the 3's - 24 A 1 and a 4 - 32. Maybe that's why I was banned from calling Bingo.

CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
Hibbo kept Toby to 7 possies and 3 goals, 2 of which were umpire gifts and the other one was froma smother and then good handball from a team mate, which was unstoppable. Yes Hibbo didn't get much of it, but I am sure all his concentration was on stopping Toby.

The No T$ No B$ Thread
Don't panic. We lost by under two goals, without another key forward, kicking badly for goal, losing the clearances, with several players badly out of form, our worst pressure half of the year and getting some poor umpiring, to a side that was desperate to win to make the 8. We can get back to our best again.

Well I hope he can get to the try line quicker.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
Very hard to when the opposition defenders mark everything. We needed a big key forward to contest and bring the ball to ground if he couldn't mark it. In that last quarter the Giants were out on their feet and we bombed it in and out it came, because we had no big key forward to contest or to kick it to. Even with all of the above, even while we got smashed in the clearances, a tall forward would have given us a chance to win..

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
Agree with all of that, but having a 203 cm proven forward, who can at least bring it to ground if he doesn’t grab it, does several things for the team,. It stops the opposition defenders marking it every time and playing on and scoring. It brings Pickett and Spargo into the contest. It takes pressure off Fritta and Tom Mac. It straightens up the mids going forward, eliminating some of the sideways ball mistakes at the same time. It gives us a better chance of a forward 50 mark and goal, especially when a tall Defender goes off early in the game and then late in the game, when the opposition are out on their feet and we are bombing it forward without success.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
Yep. 25 goals in last 3 games against bottom sides. Average 8 goals a game. Yep forward line functioning beautifully.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
Well said. Poor selection is cream on the cake.

No worries, I am probably just irritable over a game we threw away at selection.

GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs GWS
No his first half was terrible. Plays rugby. Goes hard, gets tackled and ball up or gets a kick and turns it over. Needs to lift big time and give off the ball quickly.

GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs GWS
Agree. 16 rounds in and they can’t work out we go sideways when their is no key forward and then make a disposal error to turn it over. How are our speedy small forwards looking, when the ball isn’t delivered properly, or kicked to a big forward who can bring it to ground?
