Everyone loves a conspiracy theory. With Dunstall and Derwayne openly barracking for the Suns, it was interesting that every time they said there should have been a Suns free or an incorrect free was paid to the Dees, the incident was replayed a couple of times and dissected by the commentators. However, contentious frees and goals paid to the Suns were totally ignored and no replay to show the incident/decision was seen. I had absolutely no idea why several frees and resultant goal decisions were paid to the Suns. How does this happen repeatedly in a game that is so heavily televised with multiple cameras? How many times was the JVR spoil on Ballard repeated? It seemed to be extremely selective vision and replays. Just a bit of fun for post game discussion, easier of course when you win.
  2. Very hard to compare players of different generations and I loved Robbie, my favourite player by a mile and a friend. That is why I chose my words about Clarry carefully.
  3. Oliver is one of the best players this club has ever had. He is probably the best contested possession player in the club’s history. Anything less than BOG, is seen as an ordinary performance.
  4. There was less than nothing in it. A normal football act of spoiling a mark and Ballard fell and bumped his head, giving him a sore neck. I thought Chol should have been reported on the spot for his dangerous act of belting a smaller player in the jaw, from behind, with a round arm. That is a suspension but I expect very little.
  5. It’s a result of having a better team and therefore heightened expectations. But yes, a win when we aren’t playing our best is a good result.
  6. Now they are trying to get JVR suspended saying his eyes weren’t on the footy the whole time. Not bad calling where his eyes are, looking from behind through the back of his head. Some in the media should be ashamed of their performance in their job, of not reporting news, but rather trying to create it.
  7. Turner found it hard against the big body of Casboult, but improved when he moved off him, before being subbed. He looks like once he puts on some more muscle, he will be a regular for us. He is a nice user of the ball as well.
  8. JJ - every possession effective AFL stats says on for 65% of game with 17 possies at 88% efficiency. I still say he was 100% effective.
  9. Not only that, instead of looking for a loose man and a mark which wins the game, when he kicks to the left, he didn’t run out as far as he could, making it a good two kicks from them scoring, but kicked it from close to the kick off line. We do some dumb things.
  10. If we make a GF and Cats are the opponent I would instruct the boys to somehow get Cameron out of the game early, legally of course!!!!
  11. Playing at the Cattery on the best forward in the game and you lose your full back. That doesn’t help. Danger now off. That may help.
  12. Well he has lost some of whatever mobility he had.
  13. I don’t think the Tigers like the G either.
  14. Yes Jed is definitely improving and a full season at Casey and another pre season will definitely help his development.
  15. TMac injured didn’t play and BBB better but has lost mobility.
  16. Correct. Those two clowns commentated to amuse themselves. I think I heard a pearler from them, when one said, " I think the best way to get a clearance is to have the ball" and then another was " when kicking for goal it's best to kick accurately". Getting back to White, I have never seen him play worse or kick worse. Hopefully it was just a bad day. I thought our best were Laurie, Howes, Woey and Tomlinson.
  17. White adds another, to make it last 5 kicks turned over. He has tackled well but kicked horribly. Maybe he has a sore foot.
  18. Mitch White gives it straight to Suns again. 4 times in a row. What is going on with him? If they lose this, which is looking likely, they can blame their disposal and kicking for goal. It has been pathetic.
  19. Absolutely. Field and goal kicking abysmal. The Captain has been the worst, his last 3 kicks have given the ball straight to the Suns. Joel Smith’s kicking for goal has been terrible.
  20. Rowell has lifted, in trying to make up for Miller being out, but Miller is a huge out for them, as is the in form Weller, who has become their run and carry player. They are playing well and this is no gimme game.
  21. I don’t think he wants to Coach again, as he is enjoying the softer life in the media.
  22. I think on known form I would have him around 7-8 and you could make an argument he would be last on that list.
  23. I like the technicalities in law too.
  24. I always aim to please. I am into pleasure.
  25. That’s an important talent to possess, especially when someone drops one in a crowded lift.
