Antibiotics should fix it.

He is clearly our best user of the ball in the forward half. Often low possies, but creative with them and can score, often from nothing, like that goal last night.
-
Well Cox only really got into the game in the last quarter, when the game was over.
-
He played very well.

Have rewatched Treacy highlights and I think he could be good for us. 19 year old Vic kid with good hands, a nice kick and is really hard at the contest. We don’t have that. If we are trading Jacko, then he could be part of the deal. Add Meek and get a pick that could get us Cadman or another key forward and that may be as good as we can get. That would give us 3 young key forwards with BBB and Tom in probably their last year and likely Weid traded and M. Brown retired. It will be an interesting off season for us, hopefully as current Premier.

We have played 9 games with Lever, May and Petty in and won 7 of them and one of the two losses, was when May went off concussed, early in the 2nd quarter. Consistency of playing together as a defensive unit is extremely important. Those three played tonight and we added the pressure back and hey presto.

Apparently they are looking at a VFL game, on the end of season bye round, between round 23 and first week of finals.
-
Any chance with 50 seconds left and a throw in on the half back flank, a forward or two would go down back to help defend?
-
His attack on the ball is ferocious.

Max shooting for goal seriously. Flip the ball, run to the right and try and hook it back. Seriously?
-
I still believe a lot of it is to do with injuries, which has robbed us of player consistency and copping shorter breaks, especially after travel interstate the week before. This shorter break, in my opinion, is a reason for our fade outs, late into the last quarter. Reduced team pressure is obviously another big factor.
-
Well for example Treacy, Meek and the pick to get Cadman would be reasonable. 2 big Victorian forwards and a ruck.
-
But would you be happy if he stays for 2 years and it all starts again? If he signed a long term contract I would be very happy. If he is likely to want to go in say 2 years, I would try and do a deal now. I still think we could solve key forward and ruck issues for a good trade. A Freo key forward and ruck and a top key forward in the draft, could all be doable.

Us winning is all that matters. PS: Without any injuries of course.

Hopefully a flurry of activity for us in GF week.
-
It is so strangely quiet these days on DL, obviously just nothing happening.
-
It’s been amazing how many times we have played sides at nearly full strength.
-
So Harmes injured, JJ injured, BBB, Lever and Tom out, umpires as usual with Dogs and we had 2 days less between games and get run over in last few minutes. That’s a pretty good effort by us.

Do you say that from knowledge, or just opinion?

We don’t have to accept any Freo offer, that’s the point. A player we get, might be better than our current option and then is best 22. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a star. As an example, Larkey of the Roos is no star, but is better than our current options.

Well not sure you will get an accurate response, other than guesswork.

As a banana man, I feel dirty saying I prefer cheese and tomato on a crisp baguette 🥖.

Does it matter if we know or not?

And this week's best post goes to Daisy.

But we don't have to. I would insist on at least their first and if they get the Dog's 10 for Lobbe that one too. Or they can use theirs, the Lobb pick and Logue pick, to try and get a top 2 pick plus something back to them. It depends on what JT sees as our target in the draft. We could get Treacy, Meek and say 14 and 10. It is going to be an interesting trade period for us.
