    Do they cheer at Casey?

So we drop Stevic, as he caused the last one, overruling the umpire standing a few metres away, who paid a free for a dangerous tackle. It was a blatant mistake by Stevic who said Rivers held the ball. Wrong, a dangerous tackle is not a legal one and he should have kept his whistle out if it.
  3. It actually shows that Brayshaw knows very little about footy and should stick to cricket, if he calls the serial sniper the victim. You can also hear distinct barracking in his commentary. Surely there is better out there. Does Huddo have a brother /sister?
  4. Brown should have commented on Petty running back into unknown situation, with eyes only up at the ball, to take that chest mark. Didn’t see any of his mob do that. If Brown doesn’t know what was said, maybe he should have not commented.
  5. Of course he does. Lowlife player. A sniper.

That was Matt Stevic, best and most senior umpire in the AFL.

Enjoy rest of your life and well done Dean on your AFL career.
  8. It’s just that no one wants to speak to you.
  9. We are in section 213. There appears to be a bushfire with smoke now heading towards the Gabba. Hopefully put out soon and smoke clears.

    Tassie Bombers?
  11. Wonder what he would say about Oliver if he was a Lion. He is in a wresting match nearly every contest to get free to go after the ball and rarely free kicked.

    Stunning.

What is wrong with a thread on a footy site, that talks about a footy show compere who constantly mentions his club and himself? Seriously?
  14. I can’t come to grips with Harmes playing the whole game last Sunday and then being called up for Friday. I wonder if Goody has someone else in mind to tag Neale and then brings in the fresh Bedford, or Chandler, who didn’t play last weekend.

Clarko loves stability, as stated by Sam Mitchell yesterday and Essendon are far from stable. There are factions and fights all over the place. People will have to be sacked and moved on and a flag will be expected immediately. The whole club will have to change. Not sure that is what Clarko wants, even though they are the big club he would have wanted a while ago.

Or on Wednesdays, should it be called Footy Collingwood or Footy Eddie? It is now just about unwatchable. All Eddie does, is to involve Collingwood in every segment and every part of the show and even himself, by declaring his production company is doing this that or the other. Additionally whatever is said by another panellist, Eddie adds “yes that is my info or what I have been told “. The big noting. It is actually sickening. Whatever they talk about, Collingwood is mentioned by him. There are always clips of Collingwood. No matter what the topic, there is mention of Collingwood. Enough is enough. It was one of my favourite footy shows, but on Wednesday is now unwatchable. Please get Eddie off the panel and bring in anyone else, so that it can get back to being a footy show, not a Collingwood/Eddie one.

Bombers treatment of Rutten is disgraceful and matched by the treatment of Teague at Carlton. Rutten can’t leave, or he forfeits his last year salary. They are actively pursuing another Coach and yet leave him in place. Whether they get Clarko or not and I think it’s not, as they left their run too late and Robbo says he will announce next week, they should have ended it with Rutten.
  18. The Cats seem to.
  19. I like this thread much better than the other one on the top four.

Yes you tend to do a lot of lateral thinking. Maybe my pillows are too high at night and it affects the tilt of my head.

Don't know if we would, but it now looks like Yze is gone. Apparently down to Mc Veigh, Kingsley and Yze for Giants.

He can't resign or he loses his money. If they get Clarko he is gone and will have to be paid out. Probably gone now anyway, as they have backstabbed him. I would take him on as an Assistant Coach, at no salary, until his Bombers payment ends and then he could be paid by us for his role. We could perhaps pay some out of pocket expenses, to boost his salary a little, but he would be getting full Coaches' pay from the Bombers. How does that sound? He works for us and is paid by them. If Bombers don't like it, he could be listed by us as a Trainer.
  23. If we get Grundy, it will be part of a "deal". If we get Grundy to stand firm on Dees, or stay a Pie, then the deal swings our way. I would be happy to have Grundy, at around 2/3 of his reported salary, say $600-$650k, but no way would I give up a round one pick. So IMO, it's "deal or no deal" as they say on TV. They will deal, as they are after other players and now look like keeping De Goey. It's time we got on the right side of a Pies deal.
  24. I assume we both know we are being sarcastic.
  25. We should do that with players who might be leaving as well. Oh wait a minute.
